We provide social cookery courses you can enjoy on your own or with friends. Choose from half day, evenings or full day courses. We also have guest celebrity chef courses including Simon Rimmer. We do evening cookery demonstrations. We cater for private event dining, hen parties, childrens parties and corporate events including team building. We run an exciting range of full day, half day and evening cookery classes. We have hosted team building events for organisations such as ASDA, Astra Zeneca, Jordans Estate Agents, Quooker UK, Cosentino Group, Ernst & Young, Vileda and BASF to name a few.
The school is available to hire as a fantastic venue for events such as Chef training, Foodie Events, Product Launches, Market Research, Open Days, Photography, Location filming, bloggers events, and has been hired by companies such as The Great Northern Cook Off, Total Greek Yoghurt, Grana Padano Consortium, Love Food Hate Waste, Olives from Spain, Zenith PR, Compass Group, 3663, Heinz, Maverick Productions, Swift Research, Happen and Acrobat TV.

In the school we have 8 work stations each built for 2 people to share plus a two person chef station, complete with AEG induction hobs and state of the art ovens, dishwashers and plenty of fridges and freezers. We have a full range of Kitchen Aid food processors, mixers and blenders, Wusthof knives and Quooker instant boiling water taps, along with all the other cooking equipment one would expect to find in a cookery school.
In addition to the main cookery school kitchen we have a back kitchen with 2 dishwashers, a sink and Quooker instant hot water tap. We have a large dining table which sits 20, plus seating in a meet and greet area. Plus we have a wine room which can also be used as a meet and greet area.
There is also a separate cookery demonstration room which can be made available by prior arrangement, which has seating for 20-30 people, this room is furnished with Sub Zero cooking appliances, dishwasher, fridges, freezers, Quooker tap with sink, plus a large overhead mirror that ensures the demonstrations are easily viewed by all seated.
We have a large free car park, and are easily accessible by road A56 / M56 / M60 / M6 / M62. We are also easily accessible by public transport, being within walking distance of a metro stop and a very short distance from Altrincham railway station.
For a basic venue hire we generally charge £1000 + VAT for a full days hire and £500 + VAT for half a day. In addition to this we can arrange support staff, from Chefs or Home Economists to Chef's Assistants for clearing the kitchen and assisting with activities. We can receive any food orders you have placed, and for an additional cost we can provide beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We are flexible about providing any other amenities you may need for your event.

We’ve just had this lovely message from a parent of one of the children we had at the cookery school today from CHHS.
