We have been talking to our resident Personnal trainer, Josh Wardell, about the benefits of beef, especially if your planning an Easter Feast! So here's what he had to say about protein in our beef products! "Protein – All meat contains high levels of protein and traditionally people go for the leaner meats like chicken and turkey. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with this, beef provides a higher quality protein than poultry. This is because of the amino acid profile o...f beef which provides a wider range than white meats. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and beef contains amino acids that are more available for use by the body. Protein is essential for repairing cells and helping any damage in the body." Together with our resident PT Josh Wardell we have created a protein pack containing 770g of protein, that's roughly the recommended amount for 1 week for 1 person. This is a great way to get a variety of top quality food in one place. Each pack contains: 1kg chicken breasts, 1kg diced beef, 500g lean minced beef, 4xbeef burgers and 4xlamb burgers. All meat is selected by our Butcher to ensure the best quality and we also handpress all our burgers so we know no additives involved, 100% top quality meat.
