We have some changes to the Menu this week:- Spiced Beef Spring Rolls are now a permanent fixture on our menu along with the addition of The Craven Heifer Sharing Platter, 10oz Sirloin Steak & our new Sea Bass dish which consists of poached rolled fillets with tiger prawns in a shellfish sauce with crushed new potatoes & samphire & vegetable wontons. Went out for tea last night, great services and the chef was happy to adapt our diet requirements. Made a vegan burger on the spot for us and it was delicious! It should be on the regular menu! Definitely recommend!

Went for a meal with choir for our Christmas meal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My vegan meal was tasty and looked great. Thank you very much :D

We have been saying we would call in here for a while, but just haven't got around to it. Well yesterday was the day we did.... and what a lovely, friendly place this is! Food was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful, surroundings are beautiful and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be making sure we visit again with our teenagers.... they will love it too�

These last few weeks we have had the pleasure of dining at The Craven Heifer. We have been impressed every time; Yesterday's meal however was knockout.

Starters of King Scallops for the boss, Caesar Salad for me ~ Wow! Very, very good. Main course came off the specials board ~ Lattice Sea Bass ~ one word ... Delicious!

All served by very polite and professional staff, our waitress was Emily ... Thank You.

In conclusion, to Duty Manager Tommy, to the kitchen staff and chef and, of course,our waitress Emily ... Thank You very much, Paul & Sue x

Well worth a visit as our stay was perfect, food was excellent and staff were great and very helpful

Breakfast, full English with fresh fruit and all the trimmings was perfect, well cooked and very well presented

From check in to check out the experience was 5 star...the room we had was spacious and modern.. and very clean. Lovely clean white towels and bath robes. We ate in the restaurant and the food was fantastic..would strongly recommend. The staff were so friendly too.

Food was amazing, flavoursome, rich and menu choices good. Husband said best steak ever had (&thats a compliment coming from him)! quick service although husband felt rushed. Staff pleasant and attentive. Rooms spacious, very clean, comfy. Special touches like robes, shower cap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hot chocolate, tea, coffees etc add that extra attention to detail. Although on a main road noise was minimal. Would definitely stay again.

Due to bad weather & traffic issues, called in to book a room for the night. Excellent service & hospitality from everyone. Room was lovely and large. Walk-in shower is amazing. Food in the restaurant is top notch. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you to all involved.

Christmas Dinner The food was excellent was not rushed the atmosphere was relaxed the service was superb will be booking for next year as soon as we can and the new entrance brill for my wheelchair Thank_you everyone.

Booked the Craven Heifer on a spur of the moment thing and boy what a decision. Great big room, clean fresh and just the right temperature. Big bed really comfortable, nice touches of toiletries in the bathroom. Booked for dinner which was perfect. The staff are all so pleasant and friendly. A perfect place overlooked by white capped hills.

Will certainly visit again.

Booked a table last minute, 30 mins before arriving and were served within great time and given a cute table. I had the beef Sunday dinner and he had the special of the “ the trio of lamb”. Excellent tasting food, don’t be shocked by the prices as when you try it , you will realise it’s totally worth it!😍Would definitely be coming back soon.

Booked a table for 14 at the last minute on Friday. They were more than happy to accomodate us as my parents 80th had been cancelled at the last minute. The food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant!! We all thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thank you! Xxx

As usual the food was excellent and our favourite table in pub area. The only difference this time was the service in that we felt forgotten as we were busy chatting but had to catch they attention to give our order and sweet order but the staff were still very nice. We have been coming for many years and have stayed there and we would still recommend it. The sweets are the best.

Amazing service, the staff looked after the 4 children in our party of 12 without being asked or without an issue. They brought their meals with the starters and bringing their desserts out whilst we had our mains. We pre ordered the food due to the large number of us and all the order was spot on. Food was delicious and we will definitely be back!!!
