stayed at the croydon hotel for the third time this year and cannot fault one thing steve and jane are the perfect hosts and will go out there way to do anything you need the breakfast is spot on. this hotel is so good we have booked 21 dates for next year upto now. keep the good work up steve and jane and thankyou very much
Yet another first class stay with great hosts Steve and Jane nothing is too much for them located 5 minutes on tram / bus from town centre so quiet and not far from town. Bus and tram stops are at end of road only 2 minute stroll there is also convenience store round the corner I have no problem highly recommending The Croydon excellent location and also excellent value for money.
We’ve stayed at the Croydon twice before and we are booked in again for September! Jane and Steve are fab, they will do anything for you! The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts are banging! Will always recommend to anyone �
We have just got back from a family weekend here for our parents 30th wedding anniversary...was 15 of us in total....we had a lovely friendly welcome by Jayne and Steve easy check in with everything explained to us.....we had 7 of the rooms and everyone of them was lovely and clean with lots of little extras we never expected....tea and coffee making facilities couldn't fault at all and not a speck of dirt or mess In any of the rooms lovely kept...the breakfast was brilliant all freshly cooked and made To order AMAZING, Jayne and Steve made our weekend really special nothing was to much trouble for them can not fault this place at all will defiantly be returning and we're all looking forward to it already thank you so much
This is amazing hotel . Steve and jane the owner are just fantastic they really go out there way make you feel welcome and the breakfast is to die for :) well recommended.
There's not enough stars here to rate the Croydon. Jane & Steve work tirelessly to ensure that your stay is as good as it can possibly be.
They are always on hand to either answer questions, sort any problems you may have to sorting everything to your personal taste.
Two very attentive hosts that soon have you relaxed and stress free with the feeling you are their family.
The hotel itself, with its en-suite rooms, sun lounge, dining room & well stocked bar, is spotless, warm and inviting. The breakfast is second to none and leaves you fuelled for the day ahead. All tastes are catered for and both hosts make sure it is done to each guests personal taste.
We were there as a family of three with a 21year old daughter with Downs syndrome. She was made to feel so special by the hosts that she wanted to stay, although, we all did.
Leaving was as hard as leaving any friends or family you don't see that often, but, we will be back sooner rather than later.
I hope this review helps anyone who is thinking of staying with Jane & Steve, but is unsure.
Do it. You won't look back.
The first time we (my wife and one year old daughter )stayed at the Croydon(Sept 2014 )we were made so welcome by Steve and Jane, that we went back and saw in the New Year with them. We now make a point of staying at the Croydon every year, a great friendly place to stay.
The Croydon Hotel is a brilliant place to stay.
Steve & Jane are always very welcoming & friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. They are exceptional hosts.
The hotel is spotless, very clean.
It is close enough to walk to the lovely beach & explore what Blackpool has to offer, but not too close to the hustle & bustle.
Would definitely recommend to others.

The service is second to none....the best hotel I've ever stayed in I think it should be at least 4* ....nothing is to much trouble amazing hosts and very helpful. There's not a bad thing I can say. Stayed at the Croydon for the first time and we really enjoyed our stay, reasonably priced too.We stayed in the family room and it was lovely & very clean & comfortable bed tea & coffee making facilities, tv. en suite. Steve and Jane made us feel really welcome and are really friendly. There is a bar and a lounge with tv Wii and DVD player and games ideal for children. Breakfast was lovely. Its in a great location too, close to bus and tram stops and 5 min walk to ma Kelly's. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
Just had a lovely weekend here with our daughter son in law and granddaughter. Jane and Steve were lovely. Very accommodating. Rooms were absolutely spotless and comfy beds. Breakfast was very delicious and hearty. Enjoyed so much we've rebooked for next year. Thank you for a great time. See you next year Derek and family xx

We loved going down to the bar on a night having a drink and relaxing ,the kids enjoyed going down as well were they played the wii in there
Had a fabulous freshly cooked breakfast with a choice of cereals,tea ,coffee and orange juice to set u up for the day ahead

Defiantly will come back and book up again on our next visit to Blackpool
Got to the The Croydon Hotel on friday evening, received a very extremely warm welcome from the lovely hosts, Jane and Steve. Jane showed us to our room, and what a room it was, very comfortable, well decorated and extremely clean.
The breakfast was the best we have had for a very long time and very filling and nothing was too much trouble for Jane and Steve. A little boy sat behind us at breakfast and I overheard him ask Jane for a Tuna sandwich, and low and behold, when I turned round 5 minutes later, he was tucking into a Tuna sandwich. Well done Jane and Steve you do an excellent job. We will be back. Gail and Ash.

Best guest house I've been at owners were amazingly friendly room was excellent value and spotless had all the facilities were great and the best breakfast you could want everything on the plate and delicious 100% will go back thanks for a lovely stay
Arrived for a one night stay, in the freezing rain... Lovely warm welcome from Jane...our room was warm, cosy, comfortable and immaculate. Great tea, coffee making facilities and we had use of an iron and ironing board. We had a tipple in the bar, in the company of Jane and Steve and if we hadn't had a prior arrangement I could have stayed there all night...they were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was amazing... Full English cooked to perfection and all the trimmings. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.
An amazing Gem tucked away by the beautiful North Shore. Away from the chaos of Blackpool but near enough to catch a tram to the centre. We as a family book the entire hotel every year as we cannot find anything to match this place. Steve and Jane are lovely people, the hotel is spotless and welcoming and the breakfast is to die for. I think its very rare in Blackpool that you find a place you would visit every year. This is that place
A brilliant b&b, felt so welcome. Jane and Steve are some of the nicest people we have met, couldn't do enough for you some people are meant for certain jobs and they are made for this.We did lots on our holiday but my son says the best part was the hotel! Clean, comfortable, welcoming, great breakfasts, wonderful hosts, couldn't ask for more. Thanks guys keep up the good work, love Claire Ben and Alex x
5 Stars is not enough should be a 10 easily for The Croydon Hotel, Steve and Jayne wonderful hosts and super people, nothing was too much trouble and always at hand to help, Rooms Spotlessly clean, also the service we received is better then a 5 star, me and kirsty have said we are going to make a yearly visit, the best hotel in Blackpool I would say by far...
