Morning all - we are back at The Lanky and hopefully for a much longer stint this time. Would be great to see you all again and if you want to make a date - how about Saturday June 7th when we have our old mate "JK as Robbie Williams" coming to do a gig here. The ticket price (as per our contract with JK) is £10 and that will include a buffet. Pop in and see us if you want to buy any tickets and make it quick as they are selling quickly :-)

I have taken the trouble to delete a rather offensive and insulting comment from this page – MY PAGE.
The comment was made by Patricia Hampson.
It read, "y are you advertising the Lancastrian on the welly website shoundnt you b getting your own or do you need to feed off us"
... My response was, "Are you for real???? Why don't you spend a lot of time and effort designing YOUR own Dalton Welly page and building up the support of 600 plus people. Tell you what, I'll give you a real incentive to do it now..........."
I had no problem whatsoever with Ms Hampson posting about the Welly on this page - MY PAGE!!
We have a lot of affection for the place and wish it every success.
However, as she has chosen to insult me on this page, MY PAGE, I will wish her well in designing and building her own page for the future.
Am sure she will be more than capable of building her own page rather than slagging me off on this page - MY PAGE!!

Woody's Taxis clarification. I would like to ensure that everyone is aware of the exact deal with Woody's. BEFORE MIDNIGHT you can get an 8 seater return taxi FROM DALTON to The Lanky for £15.00. It would probably be best to book it in advance if you are looking to join us for Fathers Day or for our SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE MUSIC.

Saturday 9pm! Absolutely top class act at The Lanky - 80's covers. Why would you be anywhere else and remember that Woody's Taxi's will do a return trip for 8 people for £15. Outstanding entertainment awaits :-)
