The Dukes, Lancaster Description

The Dukes creates and presents its own theatre productions, promotes Lancashire talent and acts as a resource for our community. The company presents visiting productions, films and events, bringing a diverse range of first class talent from elsewhere into Lancashire.

The Dukes has three performance spaces – The Rake, The Round and our Centre for Creative Learning, a dedicated performance space for young people’s participatory arts.

The Dukes workshop offers specialist skills in the design and creation of sets, props, costumes and puppets to other arts venues and organisations including Bolton Octagon, The Brewery Arts Centre and Oldham Coliseum, as well as sets for film and television.
