User

We have been coming here in August for the bank holiday weekend every year for 4 years. Upon arrival we have been treated extremely well staff are very polite and friendly and Julie is amazing. The rooms are clean, tidy, and very welcoming. The breakfast is gorgeous and well stocked but all the meals there are the best in blackpool. There is entertainment every night and the kids are looked after aswell.

Julie and the staff are amazing and we recommend the Dutchman to everyone.

If you want a nice friendly and polite experience use the Dutchman.

We are staying here until Sunday I just couldn't put off reviewing this place. All the staff are fantastic very helpful and polite, room and cleanliness is second too none. We have a sea view family room it's on the top floor I think there's a few flights of stairs not suitable for older people I know my grandparents couldn't manage but this is no problem at all for us. Breakfast this morning lovely lots of cereal and fresh fruit, fruit Juices And coffee and tea selection of fruit and herbal tea too. Then your toast and full cooked breakfast buffet style so you can have what you want. My daughter was sick last night my husband went downstairs for fresh bedding and we got it straight away. Honestly I'd not recommend staying her or coming back myself if wasn't worth it but I'm 're booking before we leave for October

My partner my two girls and i have been here three times now each time we have been very well looked after. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Last week we took an extra 4 people with us who all really enjoyed it and have told Julie that we will all be back next year.

My Partner and I just spent friday to monday in the Dutchman..This was our 1st holiday away together and it was great. The Hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. Especially the owner. The room we had booked was'nt a sea view one but when my partner asked if there was one available,we got one right away at no extra charge. The view was lovely. Although our double room was small,it just made it more cozy. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was hot with a really good spray. We will definetly come back. A great 1st holiday here..

User

Lovely hotel we have just got back from a 2 night stay with our 2 children. Breakfast was lovely and our daughter who is gluten free was able to use her own bread and cereal with the toasters and milk readily available to use. Only thing that slightly let it down is breakfast only starts at 9 which we thought was quite late. The room was perfect and cleaned throughly. Parking was great and they let us leave the car all day on check out day!! We only used the bar downstairs once and it was great and had games for kids too! We will deffo be back!!

User

Just returned home from a 1 night stay here. The staff were so accommodating , I think the lady was the Manager, she allowed us to park our car over 3 spaces as it was the smaller and closer car park, even asking other customers to park in the other car park through the day to accommodate for our large car and disabled son. The lady then carried our bags to our room and invited us to the on site bar to watch the singer (who was amazing). The room was small but perfect and so clean. The illuminations were right outside our bedroom window, the kids were mesmerized! At breakfast we had our own table with room number waiting for us. Breakfast was hot, lovely, and plentiful ! The same lovely lady even went and made my son his porridge . We can't wait to come back !!

User

Just returned from a 2 night Valentine break. Really enjoyed our stay. Room spotless and bed really comfortable. Nice touch was the box of chocolates on pillow. The food was lovely, carvery Friday night, breakfasts with plenty of choice. The 7 course Valentine's meal on Saturday was great, ( champagne, roses, candlelight) we had to miss the cheeseboard course out as too full but Julie told us to take some with us. Julie and the rest of her staff were very friendly and helpful. We visited the bar both nights and the lady singers were very entertaining and a good night was had by all. We have visited a number of hotels in blackpool and for the friendliness and value for money wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Dutchman and hope to return soon.

User

Just come home after a 2 night stay. We was a walk in as the original hotel we booked wasn't for us. Julie and her staff were lovely. She let us view the room as it was the last budget room. It was very clean and we were happy to accept. Excellent value for money. The buffet breakfast was lovely. Everything you can think of. Nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant food again really nice. Even have an early bird offer and kids eat free with paying adults. A great 2 hours of happy hour drinks, entertainment was good and it caters for families. We didn't have our children with us this time, but will definitely be taking them back. We were impressed with the wii and tablets they had for the kids in the basement lounge. All in all an excellent stay. Comfortable, friendly staff, excellent value for money, great food and drink. Looking forward to booking our next stay. Thank you Julie and staff

User

Great value for money clean and fresh, excellent breakfast. The staff are happy and will help you with no qualms. Entertainment in the celller bar is great. Drinks are priced reasonably, all round one of the best hotels in Blackpool.

User

Got back today after a two night stay. Absolutely fantastic hotel! Made very welcome from the start, Julie is very helpful. The rooms are spotless and have everything you need, we even had an iron and ironing board outside our room. We had a sea view room which was lovely. The breakfast is amazing, and it's buffet so you can have what you want, plenty of choice. The bar downstairs is fab, had a singer on both nights, Tom behind the bar is great! Can not fault this hotel in anyway and we will definitely be returning in the future! Thanks for a brill weekend guys! Amy and Dan (room 6)

User

Decided to try a different hotel this year for my partners birthday and so glad we did, from the minute we walked through the door Julie was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us and other guest that had arrived, the room was great the breakfast and evening meal was really nice and the chef was so friendly to, felt like I'd known Julie for ages even though we had only just met, will definitely be going again,

Thank you so much for your hospitality

We went to dutchman hotel Blackpool to take our daughter and 2yr old grandaughter to see lights n take our grandaughter on a princess caridge. We had twin and double room. It wasnt our first choice but changed to dutchman as reviews on tripadvisor were really bad. We arrived at dutchman hotel and the gentleman was very nice and showed us were to park round the back. I must tell u at this point i am in wheelchair 85% of time. Can walk slowly for short distance with crutches. The dutchman i would say is a 4 star to us. The rooms are compact but big enough for our visit. The rooms are bright and clean. Bedding is white crisp cotton. We found matteress abit uncomfy but for £49 twin (back) & £45 double (seaview) u cant complain that includes breakfast cooked and cereal. Hotel like i said is not spotless but seafront what do u exspect. This hotel doesnt cater for wheelchair guest as dont have lift to rooms. It does have ramp round back to get to there day cafe. The staff were really nice and friendly. Overall i would recomend IF they did the silly things like fresh sealent and other small things then i would rate it a Blackpool 5 star.
