We had the most fantastic homemade meal we have ate out in a very long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and was just the taste of home we wanted. Staff were very friendly and kind. I loved the fact the found a few spare minutes to speak to my son (6 years old) which made him feel very welcome. Homemade carrot cake was divine. Keep up all the excellent, hard work -x-

The first time I have visited in a few years and so glad I did! The new management have made the place look homely, yet classy. Love the tea room! My meal was absolutely delicious and the menu ranges from snacks to Sunday lunch with a fish finger sandwich thrown in (which will please my husband!). My friend and I are going to book afternoon tea next...looking at the pictures on Face Book we cannot resist! Highly recommend and a huge thank you for the wonderful service :)

Never been before, had the afternoon tea it was delightful! Lots of fresh hot coffee, scones, trifles, chocolate cake, victoria sponge and lots of other cakes too many to mention. All beautifully presented. Thank you for making me feel so welcome, I will be back�

Just been for afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, especially the scones and plenty of it. Very cosy and welcoming. Will definitely be going back soon!

An amazing Sunday roast dinner today. It reminded me of the sort of Sunday lunch my gran used to make. Highly recommend!

A lovely, clean, friendly pub who hosted my afternoon tea for 11. Very generous with the tea and a cake! (We had soooo many cakes to take away too at the end.)

My family have also enjoyed delicious hot homemade pie and supposedly 'smaller' Sunday roasts (still stuffed).

Hearty hot food; warm friendly people; great value for money. Winner!

Not been in for years but decided to call in because we had heard it was good. The young woman behind the bar was really friendly and helpful. The beer was good and the food excellent. It's good old style pub food with good old style service. Going to make a Friday night visit as often as we can.
