Very impressive, thoughful cooking! The food was outstanding - we had wild hare served pink and tender for starters, wild boar loin perfectly cooked with a touch of pink, and an amazing vegetarian dish featuring squash. Everything was cooked perfectly, well thought out, balanced and delicious. One of our top dining experiences this 2.5 week trip in South West UK, and far better than some of the reputable or Michelin starred restaurants we tried in the region. This place deserves far more recognition than it already does - imaginative, thoughtful cooking, but looking at the fish & chips and burgers coming out of the kitchen, the pub food should be equally good.

Perfect setting and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, very attentive and helpful. The food was amazing. Great tasting menu with high quality ingredients. Fantastic hospitality from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. We'll definitely be back and recommending to others.

Lovely welcome, very friendly staff and great food. We had the daily specials which were a 70 day dry aged steak which was absolutely delicious, tons of flavour and my GF had Dover sole (brown butter, capers etc).......both were excellent...starters were great too, crab and monkfish and the bread was the best I have had anywhere.



We are looking forward to our next visit.

Just heading home after a fantastic weekend of watching the professionals at the badminton horse trials , this was our 4th stay at the feathered nest and as always was a fantastic visit .

Beautiful surroundings , a building with quality and character , amazing food but the service and friendliness of the staff are what sets it above anywhere else . Thank you for a lovely stay and look forward to our next one .

Had an overnight stay for my 50th birthday. I had a fantastic time at this beautiful place with its stunning views. Excellent, friendly, attentive staff from the minute you walk in. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really beautifully decorated with a calm, relaxing feel. As for the restaurant the food is excellent! This place is a must if you're looking for a stress free time with fine dining in a beautiful setting. The website I feel doesn't do it justice, far better in the flesh.

Combination of service (from reserved dining tables for pre drinks overlooking the valley, to superb sommelier work), the view itself, the food (the roe deer tartare starter and the wild boar main were SUPERB) and the general decor and attention to the detail of this stunning pub lead me to say it is one of the most enjoyable dining experiences to date. Much more enjoyable than a large number of the Michelin establishments in London. Next time in the Cotswolds we'll be back immediately! Thanks.

Amazing stay from arrival through to departure! Great service from staff and the food was outstanding! Our room was spacious with a huge comfy bed and massive deep roll top bath which was just the ticket! Fresh delicious breakfast, would've loved to stay longer but will definitely return in the future too 👍

We arrived to be welcomed by discreet but attentive staff. Sat outside with champagne enjoying the beautiful Cotswold view.



We moved inside to eat but still had a table with a lovely view.



Food, lovely assorted homemade breads, very nice amuse bouche of wild garlic soup.



Starters good, unfortunately it was let done by one of the main meals (beef was fatty and tough) The desserts were wonderful.



Would I go here again, probably. (They didn't charge for the beef)

I’ve been to the feathered nest for my past 3 birthdays but I have to say this year was disappointing. They knew it was for my birthday & made no special effort like the previous years...
