Due to the demand we are seeking more volunteers. The group has become a huge success but due to the large numbers attending we could do with more hands on deck ! Its every Friday from 10 till 12 and we can even train you to become a Dementia friend..

The weather wasn’t the best this morning ☔️💨 but that didn’t stop us having another full house at our Dementia Cafe !!
Thank you to Millie’s cookies for our freshly baked cookies, thank you to Michelle jones who baked us 3 Victoria sponge cakes with fresh cream and strawberries, which were delicious!! And thank you to Nicola Lancaster from Little Pud’s Bakes for the kind donation of fresh scones!! They all went down a treat....🍰🍰👌

Take a bow people of Denton's Green and St Helens... Truely humbled yesterday to find out how wonderful the community are whom surround our pub..
A Mr Stanley Pennington had passed recently, and we held his wake, like we do many, however this one turned out to be different.. Stanley was a DDay veteran, and he sadly passed in a home with no family.
His funeral and wake was however attended by many due to a leaflet drop to local residence, and even ex servicemen travelled from... all over the country to pay their respect.
Take a bow Diane, and St Helens. Simply amazing work 👏👏👌
RIP Stanley.

So last week we had a lovely cake donated and left for us at the Dementia Cafe at my pub and this week this 😮..... Absolutely honestly overwhelmed today. People can come up with ideas to unite a community week in, week out, but it takes a special community to join forces and make ideas a success 👌 HUGE thanks New Town Tyres Ltd !!
Not only this, but we have a hamper raffle (second pic) that has been put together via various donations and sporadically today people having been ...handing over money, even £10 at a time, just to support our wonderful dementia group..

Went yesterday for the first time and cannot believe I've never tried before living so near to it. The food was the best I've had in any pub. The staff were lovely and welcoming and very comfortable surroundings. Definitely be returning very soon

Went with friends for a mid week catch up, food was lovely, staff are so friendly & service was really fast, would recommend going, does get busy when sporting events are on or saints playing.

We had my nana wake in here yesterday first time been in this pub nice cosy staff were happy to help with anything good service and the buffet was very good to would recommend thank you .

Visited yesterday afternoon for a few t-time beers/ proseccos n wines.

Sat in the beer garden, great atmosphere, plenty of sunshine and quality drinks!

No complaints! 5⭐️

Visited last night for my sons birthday purely on the basis that you had a gluten free menu and you did not disappoint. ! Thank you ! you don’t realise how hard it is finding somewhere we can go as a family and all eat the same food and not palm my son off with a salad or jacket potato. Thank you we will definitely be recommending a visit and we will certainly be back �

Me and my family decided to spend my 50th birthday there recently as it it local to us. Couldn't fault the courteous staff and the great food. I was also impressed with the price considering their was 8 of us! The kids outdoor play area kept the grandkids entertained for the duration of our stay.

Hosted my sisters baby shower at the Gerard today with the help of Jo and the team. Absolutely spot on! Faultless service and amazing buffet. The staff at the Gerard really can't do enough, helped me set up and clear away! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a venue. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard and a lovely atmosphere. Thanks again Jo & the team we had a fab afternoon

Great pub for sport! Always have the football & the rugby on, big screen in the bar area, & also a tv outside. The staff are always really friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. The food is great too!

Called in for a drink and something to eat, the food was brilliant and even though the pub was busy we were eating within 20 mins! The staff are very helpful and there were plenty on hand so no waiting at the bar. Also enjoyed a couple of guest ales which were also very nice and obviously well kept! Overall 5 stars from The Seddons!

After a long trip travelling, we met up with some friends who suggested The Gerard for a meal and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and hot, the cask ales we kept perfectly and the overall welcome was amazing. The manager Mark made us feel welcome and at home and so did all his staff. Well done to all the team at The Gerard Arms, keep up the hard work..

Great pub to sit outside in the beer garden when the weather is nice. Food always nice too.

Go often as live close by. Food is always nice. Staff are friendly. The young waitresses work really hard x

Went to this pub for are Tea on New Year’s Eve me and the wife. We got there at 16:00 and were turned away, being told they had stopped serving whilst there were people around us eating. Manager wasn’t very polite at all when my wife went to order food.
