About The Goose & Gander
We are a traditional country pub with a contemporary British Restaurant in the small hamlet of Little Scotland near Blackrod, situated only a short distance between Haigh country park, Adlington and Horwich.
The Goose & Gander has a ‘casual, relaxed yet premium feel’ with informal drinking and dining areas in the bar with a large wood burning stove for those winter nights! You’ll find our dining room serving fantastic country pub dishes, some of which with a modern twist. We believe that by sourcing the highest quality ingredients, prepared and cooked by award winning chefs, offered at good value prices is the key to a happy customer and a successful establishment!
