A family-run local pub located in close proximity to Boundary Park. Great selection of beers, including cask ale and a large beer garden with a small play area for children. Well behaved and mannered dogs also welcome if kept on lead.

LIVE sports tonight with League Cup football as Sunderland take on Sheffield Wednesday and Super League Super 8's as Wakefield face St Helens from 7pm. We are also serving hot, freshly made food!
It's Super Sunday, good food served from 1pm and both matches being shown on the big screens including last year's champions versus Arsenal.
Today we are showing Newcastle v Spurs live on Sky Sports at 12.30 and then Wolves v Everton at 5.30pm. We have good food being served all day and the sun is out for the beer garden optimists. Enjoy your weekend!

It's 30 degrees and we have cold beer and a huge beer garden! We also have a fantastic steak offer, 2 ribeye steaks and all the trimmings for £25 from 5pm tonight!
Unfortunately we have no quiz tonight as our quizmaster is on his holidays. Normal service will resume next Tuesday.

called in here on Saturday and had the fillet steak which was beautifully tender and cooked to perfection mu husband had the cheese and onion pie which was equally delicious lovely staff eager to please and very reasonable prices too-will definitely be going again
Very nice stew, chicken and chorizo it was lovely. Will definitely come again thank you.
Me and my son had steak and chips on Saturday, Best steak we’ve had in a long time! And the peppercorn sauce was delicious � Will definitely be having that again �

I have been in twice now, once for Sunday lunch and today for my lunch and both were delicious. I’ve had the soup & sandwich today, the homemade Leek & Potato soup was lovely as was the hot beef sandwich. I’ll definitely be back again soon.
Had the steak n chips Friday. Really nice. The Home made pepper sauce was just right.

Fabulous food and cracking value for money. All the staff are lovely, polite and friendly. Would strongly recommend the steak night.
Been several times . It's a friendly pub with friendly Staff. Had lunch once food was excellent at reasonable prices. Watched the England game against Tunisia large screen outside in the garden . Very busy but bar service very good . Will certainly be going again soon .
