Worked in the Holt last night as the DJ. Nice friendly customers and staff chilled atmosphere. A credit to the Manager Denise who managers with her experience within the industry thus creating the wanting to make this your local Pub. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į defo a 5 star for Denise and her staff
Went today with my little boy and family food was lovely especially the desert. Will be coming back xx
We have drove past many times and said we must try one day. First visit yesterday and was very impressed with the food, staff and service. Will go again.
We had a great night watching the football. Sarah Waters sang after the game and was amazing. The bar staff were really friendly and helpful.
There is a good mix, whether just having a social drink or food also
Thank you so much for the excellent service we received yesterday for my son's communion. The buffet was amazing and very cheap. Can't recommend you enough. We had a great time and never heard so many compliments about a buffet.
Really nice meal in there on Sunday with my family , kids enjoyed it as we had a game of darts. Decor was lovely inside , will definitely be going back for Sunday lunch x

Pleased to say it's now well decorated and nice inside and out. Usually an act on at weekends, well stocked bar, too many pubs in Rainhill not selling Bulmers or Magners for some reason. Haven't ate there yet but heard it's good from others.
Bar staff dead eager to please and friendly.
New Manager, Denise, so hopefully the refurb and new vibe will continue.
It's was the 2 time I've been in since the refit it very nice I add 2 very good enjoyable food dandy also they sell my favourite cider dark fruit will be going back very soon
It's a lovely, friendly pub ( was there for a funeral ) staff very helpful and the food that was put on was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone !
I love the new look Holt. The staff are lovely and really helpful. We visited for the third time on Sunday and it was busy, however the staff were quick to serve us our drinks at the bar and when we ordered food it came out after a reasonable wait. I have no problem waiting for food when it's busy and I know that the food will come out cooked perfectly and fresh. This is the second time we have eaten here the first being when the pub was quiet and I have to say the food was as good on a busy Sunday afternoon as it was on a quiet Wednesday. Credit to the Chef and bar staff finally a local pub that has got it right, great prices for food and drink with a fantastic and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit ’┐Į’┐Į

Food was lovely with generous portion sizes. My steak was cooked perfectly. Only one tiny criticism would be please put salads on the 2 for ┬Ż12 menu!

The staff were friendly and I like the new decor. Plenty of screens for watching the sport. The only downside was, I was catching up with a friend but we struggled to hear each other because of the singer. This shouldn't really be a music venue it's far to small and not set up for a live act who thinks she's playing Wembley stadium.
Lived here all my life have seen people come and go have met every owner/manager of this pub even from the days of Mr Roy Bibby (Legend) This is still a great place to socialize meet new people and have a lunch with friends
Enjoyed our first visit to The Holt, Sun was shining so sat in the garden. Rhubarb gin was excellent and we had steak and stout pie and grilled salmon, both were delicious!!!!!
