Well ! I have never been privileged to go out fot Chritmas lunch before ,but my Son John and Daughter-in-law took meto your lovely "Honey Bee " and what a scrumptious lunch we all enjoyed ,festive atmosphere ,stall all good ,great ,Merry Christmas to you all ,lol Dorothy Deakin.xx

We just wanted to get out of the traffic, spotted this place by chance , and what a great find , service ,food and atmosphere fantastic

We enjoyed a good meal at lunchtime here yesterday. We had booked online and arrived on time so don’t understand why I had a later email to say the booking was cancelled. However, the restaurant was quiet, we were served quickly and efficiently and were very pleased with all 3 courses. We’ve not been for a while but will definitely go back.

One of the best vegan menus I've tried. Nice to be offered a full menu, including starters and desserts, instead of having a salad and a bowl of chips! X

Lovely setting and handy for calling in after work. Food and service both great!

Lovely place to sit & have a drink in the sun. The seabass was delicious & cooked to perfection.

Food was spot on the service was good a bit busy they did their best all in a very good night

Food was lovely and brilliantly priced for the quality you get. Service was good too, not to in your face and pleasant without being forced. The pub itself is well looked after and it’s outdoor areas were nicely furnished also. Would highly recommend!!

Considering it was a really busy Mother’s Day,our table was free on time at 4.30 pm the waitress was more than attentive and friendly and the food was great .. good work

Came here for an early Mother’s Day meal - and it was really busy but we were absolutely amazed with the service it was exceptional - from the bar to the table service we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. The bar man was charismatic and funny and the waitress was welcoming, attentive and generally lovely. Food was outstanding - hot plates and freshly made food - couldn’t fault at all. We will definitely be back. 5 adults 3 children all well catered for and looked after - a job well done x

Absolutely first class - recommendation from me is the scallops & prawns in garlic starter and the 21oz fillet steak with blacksticks blue cheese sauce - oh yeah and creme brûlée to finish ! Washed down with either Peroni or Estrella (on tap!)

We went to this bar last night,, the bar staff weren't very good,, we stood there to be bypassed twice by 2 members of staff,, 2 other people were served before us that weren't even stood at the bar at the same time,, I spoke to the asst manager who had to leave what she was doing to come and assist us,, we went on to have a lovely meal,, the hunters chicken and pork belly was to die for,, will defo go back for the food but not the service

Sunday lunch - roast beef good , Yorkshire pudd dreadful ! fish and chips ok

Told our table was booked for 2.30pm. Arriving at 2.24pm but not being seated till 3pm. (Our party of 5 included 2 elderly and not in good health....so we had to find, in a over crowded pub, 1 chair for the eldest to sit in).

Finally seated with no apology, it took then a further 20 minutes before they asked us for our drinks order! To be greeted by a waiter with an opening line of "mad busy today."

Yea. No shit Sherlock.

We asked if we could place our food order at the same time too, due to it being some 45mins post when we should have been seated .

15mins later our drinks arrived and then our starters 5 mins after that. We asked several times for water but with no joy....so I went and got it myself. Main courses arrived and they hadn't cleared our starters....so our food was somewhat dumped on the table. At this point I believe I heard a lady apologise for the delay etc.

To be fair food was tasty and very well presented. We ordered Coffees with deserts but they came somewhat 10 mins after we had finished our deserts.

We arrived at 2.24pm and walked out at 5.55pm. Whilst we enjoy a relaxed, chilled out, meal....everything took too long and no apologies were really offered plus we actually found some of the staff a bit rude. Or should I say pissed off, which I can hardly blame them. Vintage Inn a little suggestion. Book less in and then you can keep to your timings, rather than your customers having to hang around/ extensive waiting. Yes I'm sure you want to get as many customers in but it's ended up back firing....we shall not return again despite the food being tasty.
