We visited to celebrate my Dad's birthday. As always the food was lovely and the service efficient and friendly. Table was in a slightly awkward position making it difficult to get in and out to the toilet. Overall a great night though.

We came from the lakes for the racing at Aintree and eating here topped off a fab day. Everything was amazing (I've worked in hotels and restaurants for years) from the warm atmosphere to the lovely helpful staff. Don't know who your chef is but hang on tight to them as none of our group of 4 could remember the last time we had a meal as good as this .3 perfect courses and very reasonably priced. Well done All ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Was in with friends on Sunday for lunch. Amazing food, excellent service, great atmosphere. The kids portions of Sunday roast were too big, only complaint we had.

To Julie & Mike, cannot thank you enough for the organisation and welcome in the piano bar last Thursday. The buffet was superb, the staff welcoming and polite, and the entire afternoon was a great success. It was Dad's favourite pub, to both eat and drink in, many great family memories made there, so a fitting end. We will obviously be back, just one less place at the table. Had my party at The Hop Vine venue room ( The Coach House) fantastic room that holds 80 people, has it's own enterence bar & toilets so no need to use the pub for any reason. (Totally private venue). The food as always was fresh, plentiful & delicious and the bar staff were amazing. I can honestly say that I could not fault The Hop Vine & staff as they could not have done anymore to make my birthday a memorable & wonderful night! THANK YOU HOP VINE I APPLAUD YOU ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Had a surprise party here on 21st April for my hubby. All the team were brilliant and Mike and Julie were very accommodating in letting us put banner and balloons up. They catered for 20 of us and the food was amazing as usual. We had a wonderful evening and I’m very glad it’s my local as well.

Four of us went over for our friends birthday meal very busy pub great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Fantastic food and excellent service can't recommend highly enough. We asked the landlady Julie to order a taxi for us as we were staying at her friends Hoscar Cottage. She couldn't get us a cab so she drove us back!!! Now that's what I would call excellent customer service. Thanks again Julie xx ‚≠źÔłŹūüėė
