Time has changed this place but it's never stopped being a great laugh with great people
This is the only place I ever go if I was religious I'd say this is my church haha it it's amazing can't beat the atmosphere
Played The Cali last Saturday, hadn't been there for a while. Heres my ten pence worth:
The lads on the door were fine, Guinness was £3.70 not £4, no "attitude" from the bar staff, there was no trouble, and everyone was having a good time.....
Love the cali good music good people good booze great atmosphere , many a good memory and laugh in this place
Love going to the calli it's the only place I will go it's so friendly there everyone always welcome you with open arms x
It nice I like .8 go back , if mummy let Me, if not I put her under floor with nasty daddy.
Having a fantastic night here! The DJ is amazing, Old School Rock, New Metal, MJ everything you could want for a great night out, all hail the kick ass DJ and rocking tunes!
Had many a good night in here over the years even attended weddings
Great venue and a nice atmosphere. at a push, I can even walk home in 25 minutes :-)
Excellent night out. I can't understand some of the moaners who award one star for feeling crap one night and blaming the piano player for the whole 9 yards. Music venues come and go. Some make way for ugly one bedroomed apartments. Yet this one carries on with the musical policy it sees fit for the punters out there. You don't know what you've got until it's gone. Enjoy and hey just chillabit eh?

First time there last night to see Electronica, brilliant night, people there, although many were 'rockers', were very friendly and appreciated the music. The dj played lots of rock before hand which was also cool, I like all genres anyway, definitely a friendly good vibe place. Carpet was a bit sticky tho �
Bit quiet for a Saturday but it was a work's leaving party and Xmas do rolled into one. Band were ace and Maccies round the corner for a pre taxi munch.....
First time we went great! Fab evening. 2nd visit we left due to a mob of arseholes who where out for a fight so my initial impression was spoilt by our 2nd visit to what is otherwise a great venue! Maybe the door staff could mingle a bit more and weed out the troublemakers, what they where after was blatantly obvious.
It's a shadow of its former self, no heart or soul these days!
Such a sad thing to write but if it was a horse they'd shoot it!
Sparsely populated, whatever happened to those packed nights of classic rock et al? A once proud venue now languishing as a relic of better times
Used to be a great night out,but it's really hit rock bottom now & not worth the journey.
Normally a fab rock venue but something has gone badly wrong here ! There could only have been 50 people in all night - and 6 of them were the band . Couldn't hear the music in the bar despite the ? manager hiring it up to it could be heard over the band playing in the next room with adjoining doors open . Paul McCartney tribute band didn't appear to be anyone's idea of rock music . A truest disappointing night �
