About The Koffee Pot
The Koffee Pot is a Mancunian institution, serving up hearty no-nonsense breakfasts and other much loved British classics to the good people of Manchester.
The Koffee Pot Description
Our fry-ups have been known for over a decade to cure the worst of hangovers and our Smoked Kippers, Haddock Rarebit and Haggis have made the Koffee Pot the go-to-caff for the best brekkies in Manchester. By the way we take bookings for 6 or more people, for less than that we operate on a first come first served basis.
See you at the Koffee Pot!

Rob comes in for a chat every lunch when we are rammed, so we have to shut him up with food, today he was the 1st to sample our STILL DRUNK TATER-TOTS, smothered in beer cheese sauce, “Give me some of your Tots “ #napoleondynamite #napoleandynamite #tatertots #beercheese #manchester #koffeepot #lovemanchester

Visited today for breakfast! New favourite place in Manchester for breakfast really good value for money and tasted lovely!
Visited this morning with my daughter. Food was great and the waiter was hilarious and helpful. What could I suggest to make it better, free refills on your tea.
Very cool place from the decor to the music being played and the staff.....i could eat the breakfasts any time of the day....£8 - £10 seems a bit steep but well worth it...the bloody Mary with srarancha was just what was needed to bring me round from the booze the night before and set me up for the drinking to come....katsuries has long been my favourite refuelling station ...good to have some quality competition ...long may it continue
Nipped in to get a coffee one morning last week. Was shocked and horrified wen the guy asked for £2.50 wen u saw the size of the cup it was in. But oh my god it was the nicest coffee I’ve ever had. Well worth the money.
Great breakfast , you have the choice of adding black pudding to the full English ( Scottish and Irish options also available) for no extra cost
Bacon cooked to perfection- no flabby fat ! And good quality sausage.
Service was very good - only down side was the seating in some of the booths was a bit shabby but didn’t spoil the breakfast experience . Good tea and coffee also inc in breakfast cost .
First visit today. Food was fabulous and great friendly staff. Very busy but no long wait on food. Will be returning
Fantastic food and service, I recomend the english breakfast for those who want to experience the english way! Portions are big! We were also there for dinner and we couldnt finish por plates!
Excellent service for Bank Hol Monday brunch, lovely little waiter. Tea was brought too early so he gave us a complimentary extra cup. Highly recommended
Best food in Manchester x. Try the Scottish breakfast. Only £10 with a hot drink included x
Hot Vimto only £1.
Best espresso martini in Manc! great staff ! Lovely atmosphere. Ideal place for breakfast if your in Manchester.
Always a great place for breakfast. Well worth the money. Free black pudding if you want it and if you want spam it's a £1 extra which I don't mind paying. You also get a coffee and 2 toast in the price and you can have Scottish or Irish breakfast for a change too. Staff are brilliant and friendly and the music is great. People vote with their feet and when I was there people were waiting for tables. Nuff said.
Absolutely brilliant creative food. Spent time in this wonderful place over a few visits over the years. As I work with young people with eating disorders they have commented on how the food is so interesting to there taste and fussy needs. Very understanding around there issues and very helpful to accommodate there dietary issues. And all I've commented on the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. All have commented wishing to visit again in the future.
Getting there vs the old Koffee Pot! They had run out of more lunch/brunch type stuff by 2pm Sunday, no biggie, I swapped to the English breakie with sourdough toast and wasn't disappointed, it was super light but filled me up for 18hrs straight - even I was surprised by that! Just needs a slightly smoother run of service and it'll be reet, though all staff were super friendly.
Decided to treat my husband to brunch on fathers day with our little boy. We had wanted to come to Koffee pot for a while after our friends raved about it. When placing our order they had run out of what we wanted, gutted but u can let that go as it was rammed......but then my 2nd choice I was told there would be a wait but they couldn't tell me how long?!?!?! I said that would be fine but the server told us my husband's might then come before mine, which I couldn't get my head round. She suggested I pick a 3rd choice. which I did, grudgingly. we then waited an hour and 10 mins for our food and as she brought us it she said the stuff I asked for initially was now back available!!!!! Not the best. The manager heard this and wasn't best pleased with her, looked like she was gonna get a bollocking. I kinda thought they might have knocked the coffee or something off the bill but no......first time in my whole life I haven't left a tip. Shame really as it was supposed to be a treat but just felt a bit chaotic. Food when it eventually came was nice though.
If you're called the Koffee Pot then at least get the coffee right-mine was (at best) lukewarm and it was also very small for the price. Bread (sourdough at an extra £1.50) was good but came already buttered which was presumptuous-beans were beans-super tiny egg well cooked and sausages were tasty but tough skinned. Friendly greeter. Horrid toilets. Don't really know why this place is so hyped-I'll go elsewhere next time.
We visit for the first time today , found the staff not very attentive at all , had to ask for bill 3 times , wrong food was brought out , toast was brunt and cold, pouched eggs were rock hard , seats need recovering and generally table and condiments need a good clean , first and last time very disappointing all round
Poor quality of food and standard of presentation. I had the Veggie breakfast and I could have prepared it better myself. I have no idea how they can justify charging £8.00 for it.
No more swaps, how difficult can it be? Due to bad waiters and not enough staff probably.
Menu is limited now on weekends and I won’t be coming back after being a weekend regular for years. Ridiculous
Guys, not being funny and certainly not one to leave a bad review but we placed an order with yourselves this morning and it was wrong. Not a problem, these things happen. When we then called to let you know it was wrong, we're told that it wasn't wrong.
We bring the incorrect order back, it was then said to us that the order was repeated back to us (it was not) and when you said 'We'll change it on this occasion but won't be doing it again.' in front of other customers, quite frankly stinks. You then fucked the order up AGAIN.
Call me a cunt if you want, but honestly, sort your shit out, especially customer service and attitude towards paying customers. Being given a bollocking by you was not what I expected.
