For the very first time triathletes have the opportunity to race a long distance triathlon in the heart of the English Lake District, all on road and with a minimum of elevation. No mountain passes or fell shoes required here!
The Lakesman promises to be a truly outstanding event with a quality Cumbrian edge to everything we do. With the swim, transition areas, finish and lots of activities for all the family, situated right on the edge of Derwentwater, we feel we can lay claim to be the most picturesque setting of any triathlon in the world.
With breathtaking views, warm Cumbrian hospitality and a simply breathtaking bike and run route we hope to deliver a truly amazing race for all our competitors.
