Wonderful hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Kelly who sorted a room change for us cos of night working at Lime Street. Love you guys

User

We've just enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Liner celebrating my husband's birthday (14 of us altogether). Callie, Daniel & all the staff looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a champagne breakfast which was absolutely lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Only a short walk to the centre and within walking distance of the train station. Thank you for a great stay xx

User

We stayed at the Liner for 3nights while I had an eye operation. Lovely clean comfortable room and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great choice for breakfast, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Liverpool.

User

We had a great stay last night at the Liner. Came out of Lime Street turn right and there you are. We went to the theatre ... Empire is next door ... and walked back and had a drink in the Castaway. Room beautiful hotel quirky and so clean. Staff fab and the food this morning was plentiful and first class. We heard no noise we were at the front in 416. Central and close enough for most things. Can’t wait to return.

We celebrated our wedding at The Liner yesterday and we had an amazing day! Daisy (the coordinator) made everything so easy and went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. The staff worked really hard all day and made everyone feel special.

The night before the wedding I stayed in an exec room and although it was extremely hot there’s nothing the hotel can really do apart from provide fans which they did. On the night of the wedding and the night afterwards we had the Penthouse and it exceeded all our expectations! A/C was a very welcome surprise for an unusually hot summer! A jacuzzi bath and the big screen tv with Netflix was wonderful!

The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of our guests commented on how beautiful it all looked and how amazing the food was for our wedding breakfast. Also we enjoyed meals in our room with really good, quick room service so the food was still hot when it arrived.

From the minute I got here as a bride to be I was treated like royalty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know and I owe more thanks than I can express to Daisy and the team for everything. We will be back to enjoy our first anniversary with you!

User

Thank you for a lovely stay in your hotel. Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. Lady who runs breakfast was outstanding, she worked so hard and a only short wait for our table during a very busy breakfast service. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine was such a bonus. Well done to all

User

Stopped for the weekend for a friends birthday and had the best time. The location of the hotel is fab with secure parking, nice room, great food , friendly staff, nice bar areas inside and out. I couldn’t fault the place . We will definitely be back . Thank you

User

Stayed last night for my husbands birthday in the Penthouse have to say it was beyond my expectations he loved his surprise very good value, staff was so friendly.Had a meal in the Restaurant was beautiful as was the breakfast lots of variety. Highly reccomend it cant wait to go again thankyou for a pleasent stay..

User

Stayed here a few times now, the first time had a room with a broken minibar and someone else's dirty clothes still in the room however staff were amazing and changed our room immediately and were ever so lovely and upgraded our second night for free as a good gesture. Just been again the last few days and again disappointed to have a room with a minibar that doesn't work, no one wants warm drinks especially in this hot weather :( other than that and a lost wallet (not the liners fault) absolutely lovely and i really struggle with getting a good sleep however the liner beds are amazing and I love them! I really need to know where I can get one from for at home so I can always wake up rested

User

Lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and we were grsteful for the electric fan due due hot weather. Excellent meal in house at night and the breakfast had plenty of choice. Centrally placed for museums, Lime street station, art gallery etc. On site parking which is free for residents and can be booked in advance.

User

Excellent hotel, really clean and comfortable. Staff had our rooms ready really early which we were not expecting but lovely touch, they even kept our luggage stored securely once we checked out so we could see the city before flying home. Nothing was too much trouble, all staff so helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay again and recommend your hotel. Thank you for helping to make my first trip to Liverpool so enjoyable xo

User

Absolutely saved us from hell. My wife and I paid to stay in the Lord Nelson across the street. When we arrived we were too early for check in so parked in liner car park and ate at the liner which was lush. After lunch we went to check in at the Nelson and after 20 mins sat itching in our tiny, damp dirty room with damaged fixtures and fittings we ran out faster than we had went in. We went across to the Liner and begged them for a room luckily they had a double. A lovely member of staff checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was massive and clean. The bathroom was also huge clean and modern. Well stocked minibar with optional room service. Our stay was great slept like a log in a very comfortable bed. Only down side we reported a problem with the minibar having half eaten desserts in it. When reporting it the woman in reception could not have been more apologetic but the man who came in to remove the items needs a lesson in customer service or a new job at the Nelson. Breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice. Upon check out we had a small problem not caused by the Liner or its staff and the lady on the front desk offered to help us without us asking. Overall lovely hotel, lovely well dressed staff (excluding miserable cleaner). Would recommend to anyone.

User

Absolutely THE place to stay for us last night! Could not believe just how central we were for the railway station, Empire Theatre, 02, Walker Art Gallery, World Museum!

Excellent service. Clean, tidy & everything you want in your room. Lovely restaurant & bar. Great breakfast & FREE parking!

Very good value for money!

We will definitely return!

Thank you, all.

User

The staff were very helpful,a great breakfast, comfortable room but.in this exceptional hot weather air condition would have been very welcomed, the fan helped, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we shall return"

User

Stayed here with friends for one night. The Liner is well situated for central bars/restaurants & museums.

Parking is free & well organised. All staff seemed friendly & helpful.

We had a premier cabin on the fourth floor, very clean with tea, coffee etc & toiletries .

Check in/out was easy & organised.

We had breakfast which was very average only & I wouldn't have wanted to be having for more than one morning.

User

Loved it....but bloody hot on the 6th floor n only a floor standing fan that blows only HOT air around.... But that is the only criticism of our stay... (As heat rises then air con may need installing at some point)...

User

Great location yards from Lime st. station. Well situated for just about everywhere. Clean comfortable rooms, and super helpful friendly staff. Reasonable price for a city centre. Would def recommend it.

User

Cleanliness second to non! Spacious comfortable room only draw back was constant noise of a motor running all night didn't disturb my husband but I am very light sleeper. Thought the opening time of 5pm for the bar was dissapointing not quite right sitting in the restaurant( clearly set up for meals) to have a drink. The breakfast was ok but perhaps a little over priced. I would most certainly stay again ideal location for theatre cathedrals & sight seeing. Staff very smart. Friendly and welcoming. I will next time request a room on a lower deck hopefully to avoid the noise I presume was from the station we were on 6 thfloor.
