The centre is open as normal today. The fires on the moors are giving off a lot of smoke but we are ok in Oldham!

As part of our Bank Holiday open day we have decided to make it a truly OPEN day!
Any fencer can come down to the centre on Monday 28th and fence for FREE! We open at 10am and close at around 4pm, plenty of pistes available although some will be closed off for Ludosport Lightsabre, Manchester HEMA and have-a-go taster sessions.
There will be food and hospitality abound! So come down and play for free anytime :)
... Any weapon, any time, any body - free!

Went to the British Veteran Fencing Championships today. Great space and location, congratulations to all those involved in creating the venue, a great space for fencing that is just going to get better and better!! Thank for hosting the event.

Went along to see the centre today in advance of running the Elite Epee Men's Series and Junior Series events in November. You walk up the stairs thinking at I at the right place, then you get to the door and see the set up.



It I very impressive and spacious. Really looking forward to taking the Elite Epee Events to Manchester.



Pretty easy to get to as close to the Motorway system, has a Tesco just around the corner for supplies, lots of parking...

Used this venue to run the Manchester Sword last month. Great layout, plenty of space and boxes/pistes were of superb quality. Highly recommended for running events at.

Took our scouts last night. Still getting messages off parents to say how much they loved it. Great price and great place and friendly staff

So impressed! Went to the Trans Pennine Foil competition today. So organised, so friendly and a really fantastic venue! Thank you so much

Manchester Fencing Centre has got so much to offer and more to come to make it that "one louder!" Working towards getting disabled access, upgrading changing facilities and all weapon all abilities! Beginner to elite training on 19 pistes!

It has a wonderful vintage air to the old mill. Ellie is happy to place her mark there for the LPJS under 11 and looking forward to returning.

I've been to a few fencing centres across the country now with my daughter and find this one has the best facilities and the friendliest coaches

I can't find the words to express how amazing this company is. My son's confidence has doubled since attending the fencing class on a Saturday. This is down to all the staff at The Manchester Fencing centre. Thank you so much for your time patience and involvement you have when teaching Finley on a Saturday.

Great venue (accessible by public transport), friendly & knowledgeable coaches and volunteers, excellent price ranges & payment plans and with a focus on personal development mixed with fun challenges! Well done to the guys - a 'proper' dedicated fencing Salle!

Great training facility and more importantly a very welcoming, inclusive atmosphere to train in for everyone.

Spacious and comfortable spectator area with hot drinks and vending available.

Easy to access from the motorway networks.

We love it here :-)

Brilliant concept, OK venue and really friendly people. Would have given them more stars if they could stop people stabbing me.
