We want to give a great party experience to our little guests this year so we are limiting the event to 100 children. Printed tickets will be on sale at the pub from friday 19th. We ask that children are accompanied by one adult as a maximum to prevemt over crowding. We also ask that no buggies or prams are brought upstairs. Also please only attend if your child has a ticket as we would hate to dissapoint any children on the night. Looking forward to a frightfully good night...see you all there .

Went for a party 2 weeks ago karaoke the following night super place,top staff with a great sense of humour,pints of diamond highly recommended,food was perfect we will be back

Our band, Sonic Waves, plays here regularly. It's a great pub, the landlord and landlady are lovely, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the customers never fail to make it a great night.

Never had a bad meal yet. Spoke to Chef in the week and he put on one of the specials for us for last night for the family, it was as stunning as we remembered - jerk chicken lasagne. The staff are always so friendly, nice bunch of people!!

Loving the new menu, staff as always were amazing. The new outdoor furniture/flowers are a really lovely touch - bring out the sunshine and get down to the Melville

Liam Coyne`s Open Mic at The Melville on Saturday 22nd of July was brilliant. All the performers were excellent and the customers were very appreciative of the music. The staff and the customers were all friendly and a good time was had by all. I will certainly come to the next Open Mic.

Fantastic venue for parties.

From beginning to end Danny and the staff couldn't have done enough for us. The buffet was fantastic and more than enough for everybody and more.

Bar service for the event was exceptional and easily managed by one person who not only served but kept the room cleared of rubbish and glasses and even entertained the children.

I would highly recommend The Melville to anyone looking for a party venue and will definitely book again in the future.

Fantastic value for money . Nice homemade warm cooking just what you need when you have just spent 3 hours in A&E .... Definitely be back

DJ'd in the function room last night, pub looks fantastic, function room is nice, and the staff are friendly and welcoming �����

Can't fault the Melville my 1st time well down stairs anyway had lunch with a special friend and the food was amazing and a plenty so much had to leave some,manager and staff were approachable and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble definitely go back and eat again so welcome the Melville

Been here this evening and I have to say food and service was fantastic not to mention the price ( adults meal plus wine plus child a meal n drink for under 10.00 with the deals) will definitely be coming again

Been here a couple of times for food and drinks and it's really tasty! Great value for money, and the food is really nice. The staff are pleasant as well. This place looks great after it has been done up.

Been for food today with it being mothers day. Service was brilliant as always,food lovely and out quickly. Can't recommend this place enough for great service.

100 % recommend.We ordered the beef hanging kebab & slow cooked feather blade steak.Lovely food and the service was great by the lovely Yvonne & Tina.Both went out there way to make sure everything was perfect with our visit.Will be back.Great price.�
