We had a girls get together here it was great, staff were nice and friendly will defo go again thanks

Sam is the best member of staff there. He is very patient and professional with customers. He is very funny and makes us tea when we coms in for breakfast. The place wouldn't run without him!!

Nice food and drink. I am a Scouser who has recently moved to Bromborough. The locals have been very welcoming �

Myself and my family came here after a funeral I cannot praise the place highly enough. From the moment we arrived we were treated with the upmost respect and compassion. The food and the service that was provided was exceptional a variety of lovely fresh sandwiches and various meats pies spring rolls and chicken bites that the children loved. The new manager came over personally and gave his condolences and showed a real interest in us ....a lovely gesture considering that the place was very busy at the time it's service like this that ensures we will definitely be returning very soon. Well done x thankyou x

Lovely meal tonight and attentive staff .. service was fab ... omg the women next to us on the table started choking and the manager came running over from the bar saw the lady was in difficulty. He grabbed her and smacked her on the back two or three times until the lady coughed up whatever was choking her. Good to know that people are looking out for you. Brilliant night will be back. So if I'm ever choking I hope I'm in the Merebrook ��

Fabulous food with great atmosphere. Charity event for breast cancer on the night with fantastic raffle prizes. Pleasantly busy with great staff

Came here for the first time this Valentine's night, the food was 10/10, just delicious, good prices, friendly atmosphere..... What more could you ask for........ will definitely be back soon.....

Best value for money pub anywhere...great food great drinks.....great prices.....and service has improved since previous criticism...All in all.. my favourite place to be

We choose glaze chicken wings which were the not very nice choice of a limited starter selection .

The Merebrook is what it is - a local pub that doesn’t pretend to be any sort of gastro pub. You get a good range of drinks at a good price. The one thing I would say though to staff is serve people in order and acknowledge a customer when they queue up waiting at the bar. Just a little ‘I’ll just serve this person then I’ll be right with you’ kind of thing. Speed of service is a little slow when making drinks ie pouring two draft beers at the same time would help.

Need permanent staff working the bar not stuck in the lounge have to wait too long to get served.

Very disappointed with the atmosphere and some of the food. Husband reported garlic prawns were undercooked only to be told that they wouldn’t leave the kitchen if they were not to temperature (79:2degrees). He was later very sick � in the toilets of the pub. Will be a long time before we return.

Had a pleasant main meal here with my wife for our wedding anniversary today, but when we ordered pudding it hadn't appeared after 25 minutes so we chased it up with a manager. They checked and said it would be 5 minutes. 20 minutes later there was still nothing and we had to wait awhile to get a refund off another manager (who didn't seem very sympathetic and gave only a cursory apology).

Waited 30 minutes to NOT be served. Watched 3 separate people join the queue after us and be served before us. No recognition at all that we were stood there waiting. Great job thanks �

Very poor service at the bar. Good, hard working staff but not enough of them. Not enough glasses wine served in tumblers, spirits served in pint glasses - not acceptable at all!!!!
