The North By South Description
North by south or south by north, what does it mean… nothing. Paradoxical in direction, like going up but coming down, it can be anywhere or nowhere as this direction doesn’t exist. Older phrases of navigation, such as travelling south by south east or north by north west were common tongue in determining a certain direction. North by South aims to go anywhere and everywhere. By focusing on the live performances of both travelling and stagnant musicians, N by S attempts to present these moments via the world wide web to anyone at any given time.
The purpose of this online collective is to increase the publicity of some of Britain’s (or the world’s, wherever they may be from) original musicians and artists. To collaboratively post online using one shared account. If you’ve interviewed a performer or videoed their performance, all inputs are welcome but will be moderated to fit the general theme of independent music and arts performances.
