Wow - amazing!!! Service was great and the food was too! Carol welcomed us at the door and made us feel really welcomed. Had the black pudding starter followed by 2 pizzas and the double base was great - we had to take some home there was so much! Can’t wait to try the steaks this weekend!!! Thank you!

Where do you start...... Attended the VIP pre reopening event, food was to die for, staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The new look is fresh and makes the place look bigger and brighter. Had a brilliant night, and look forward to coming again soon....... Thank you to all the staff and good luck to you all

We went to the Peacock Grill and Pizza last night....fabulous food, staff were enthusiastic and passionate about the food they were serving..good atmosphere... If I could award them more stars I would!!!! And yes, before anyone mentions it, my son is part of the brilliant team who cook the food, but their hard work deserves the rating I have given irrespective of who works there!!!!

We booked a table for the VIP night on Wednesday.

Well done guys. The new look is fab. The new menu gives lots of choice and the food was amazing. We might see you again tomorrow, we need another visit to trial the Gin bar x

My friend and i attended the New Years Eve Vegas themed celebration, We had a fabulous time, the food was perfect, the atmosphere was happy and friendly, the staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, the theme decorations were great, overall just a perfect new year party, will defo be back for next new year party, Thankyou Peacock staff for making it so amazing, Julie N Kath xxx

I went to The Peacock for lunch yesterday and since they have had the refurbishment I feel that things have got better. I had the gammon with the trimmings served on a hot plate and loved it. Shall be going again

Dined as a party of 50 today. 10/10. Served in excellent time, food was lovely, fab customer service. No complaints by anyone. Even the veegans and gluten free members of our party were well catered for with good food .

Catered for a large group of runners after Birchwood 10k. I’m vegetarian and loved the fact that there was a veggie roast on the menu!! Absolutely yummy - best mashed potato ever!! Thanks to all the staff ��

Ate here tonight with my family of 4, staff friendly and welcoming. tried the fillet steak, cooked to perfection! Kids meals also went down a treat! Followed by the salted caramel dough balls..mmmm they are delicious x

Booked a table today for Mother’s Day with the family and would just like to say what a lovely day it was. Service was brilliant and the food we had was lovely so thank you for helping me and my family enjoy our Mother’s Day.

Waiting quite some time for our food it was not even busy. Our food came out it was cold. chips and onion rings sent back. The chips was just put in micro wave and the onion rings were hot but dripping in grease We couldnt eat the food. We got offered a desert and some money back and the staff was lovely but how do you get it so wrong in there? I have been in there a hand full of times and never had a decent meal.

Very very slow service,waiting around 20 minutes for drinks,which had been sat on the bar for 10 minutes,service not great,main meal,standard and yet again slow service,waited around 45 minutes,would hate to see how long it would take if they were busy x

Not very good service no vegan food no gammon no lamb for Sunday lunch wen we asked about vegan the girls replied yes we have chicken tikka but no nan bread� the food was cold and we had a party of 9 and was put on separate tables even though the table next to us sat 9 and was occupied the whole time we was there safe to say we won't be back
