Went there for the first time yesterday. Staff was friendly. Food was tasty and tge kids meal was massive. Sat outside all day in the sun had a very pleasant experience. Feeling a bit rough today mind as the landlady told us to try the skittle shots...
Went for lunch today. The food was lovely and very filling. The management and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back.
Visited today highly recommend the all day breakfast it was lovely and great friendly service! Thank you ��
Very well presented, large modern pub.. gorgeous inside and out. Had a breakfast and a nice chat with new owners who were very welcoming. excellent parking, excellent atmosphere and excellent food. highly recommended.
Took my sister for the much recommended breakfast on tues, we were not disappointed, It was huge, cooked perfectly and to our request ie, very crispy bacon. The service was spot on and really friendly, the pub looks great, staff were great and food was faultless will defo be going again x
Lovely local pub that has recently recaptured its former glory. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a good pint. The pool table is back, they show the football, and they do very tasty pub food which is nicer than some other local franchise pubs. They also have regular entertainment, what more could you want? Come and support your local!

Just been in the poacher for the first time since it reopened and I must say it was amazing! The refurb looks fab and the food was delicious! Keep it up guys � can't recommend enough x

Had 2 superb Breakfasts at The Poacher this week.
It’s the first time in almost a year that I’ve been in the pub and what a refreshing change.
Refurbed, Cleaner, Staff excellent and the tasty, excellent value Breakfast is something other Pubs do not offer.

Best pub in warrington and has the most handsome barmen ive ever seen which is a bonus. Scran is top notch as well.
Really annoying and disappointed that yesterday I finished work and got to the poacher for 7pm. (food advertised till 8 ) got told they had to many backed up orders and the chef was leaving for half 8 so couldn’t order food!! So make sure you ring before arriving! Had to go home with two hungry children that were looking forward to a treat!
As a local family we went for dinner the Friday before New Year
The food was very tasteful but not warm enough
Me and my mum had curry which was only luke warm my husband had the ale pie which was hot but mash luke warm gravy cold my daughter had the chicken strips and again luke warm virtually cold
May we go again possibly not
Sadly disappointed as we really wanted the food to be good. One hour wait following food order, chased a couple of times told Chef was on his own. Garlic bread frozen in the middle, scampi was poor quality, lasagne dry and then dessert was refunded as it never came after one hour. Staff were great but under pressure.
Well, after all the hype, I thought I'd try The Poacher out. Phoned this morning and booked a table. Walked into the pub, which was quite obviously in a state of mayhem. One member of staff in tears, one walking around saying what a mess it all was, and when I went to order food, I was told that no food orders were being taken, even if a booking had been made! Not impressed and I felt so sorry for the barmaid. So very disappointed.
