Ever since I can remember I've struggled with my weight. I've dieted all my life but I've never managed to actually feel confident and happy in me. I've never been able to go out and enjoy myself as I could never look nice in anything. My weight and body confidence has really stopped me from living my life.
I did lose weight before starting at @theptstudiouk but was... still a size 16/18. At that point I thought I was happy as I went to Disney World knowing I could have my picture taken without having to delete it. That was my goal. But I knew I was still a long way from where I needed to be. Struggling to lose anymore weight for 4 months I knew something needed to change. I saw the Instagram post from @theptstudiouk and took the plunge. Honestly from then on my life really did change. In just a short space of time, @theptstudiouk has helped me lose over 17 inches meaning I have come off all my strong painkillers, made me feel the most confident I've ever felt about myself which has helped me move forward with my career and most importantly made me a good role model for my two girls. I can't ever thank Ste, Jon, Jaide, Tony, Tom and everyone who goes to the @theptstudiouk enough. The support, guidance and genuine friendliness of @theptstudiouk means that someone like me can really achieve anything they want to. I can't praise them enough. Thank you Ste and the team for giving me my life back and such an enjoyment in getting fitter.

Here’s what he had to say about his Journey with us....So here's my work in progress still have a week left on my latest 10 week transformation but after my set back last time around due to injury i was determined to reach my goals, 5 months of hard slog with 7 weeks out due to injuring my back so basically 4 months to hit my first goal of getting as lean as possible. Started at 14st 7 an...d now 12st 8. Iv had a few blips along the way with celebrations and meals out but always got straight back on it counting macros and basically tracking and weighing everything i eat and drink, its not been easy il admit but starting to see the results has spaired me on. It’s that time of week again foodie Thursdays 😋 Why not give my Oriental chicken and stir fry cashew stir-fry a try. The cashews in this recipe are sweet and crunchy and contain a lot of fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. A great addition to this chicken- and vegetable-based meal
Prep: 20 mins Cooking time: 10 mins ... Serves 2 Nutrition per serving: 310 kcals, 41g protein, 17g carbs, 12g fat
What you need: •300g chicken breast, diced •300g vegetable stir-fry, fresh or frozen. • 50g shiitake mushrooms chopped, 3 tbsp cashews, 1 garlic clove crushed, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp coconut flour, 2 tbsp soy sauce What you need:
1. In a small bowl, combine the coconut flour with 1 tbsp of cold water until you have a smooth paste. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and mix well. 2. In a pan, toast the cashews until browned and then set aside (do not use any fat) 3. In the same pan, heat the coconut oil and cook the chicken until browned 4. Add the vegetables and cook 2-3 mins until soft and heated through. 5. Add the cashews and mushrooms and cook for a further 2 mins. 6. Then add 100ml boiling water and the earlier prepared paste. 7. Mix all the ingredients well and cook 2-3 mins, until the sauce thickens. 8. Season with salt and pepper and taste 9. Serve hot with rice or noodles if you need to increase your carbohydrate content. 10. Foam rolling also increases blood flow to your muscles and creates better mobility, helping with recovery and improving performance. 3/ Massage can help reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall sense of emotional and physical well-being. Massage therapy can be an important part of your health maintenance plan by Reducing muscular soreness and help aid recovery. 4/ Sleep plays an important role in your physical health. Sleep is involved in healing and repair of your muscles after working out. Better sleep equals better recovery. 5/ Stretching and Yoga can help improve flexibility, and, consequently, range of motion about your joints. Workout Wednesdays free workout 🏋️‍♀️ Stuck for time can’t down to the gym or need a routine you can do anywhere? Why not give this Kettlebell workout a try. Beginners use a 5kg or 6kg Kettlebell. If you’ve been training sometime use at least a 10kg Kettlebell. 10 reps on each exercise with no rest in between each exercise check out the video link of me demonstrating each exercise on the workout.
