Thank you for organising the annual village Easter egg hunt. It is lovely to have such a community minded pub on the doorstep.

Great pub,good choice of ales, friendly bar staff and towards the end of the night they even came round with a free bowl of crisps to each table.

Friendly, traditional pub. Popped in yesterday for a pint of Barnsley Bitter, really good. Could have chosen so many others too!

Discovered the Robin on our travels to visit my Dad in Pinderfields hospital and what a find! Lovely atmosphere, great real ale with its very own micro brewery as well as a good selection of other drinks and friendly staff. When my Dad eventually goes home we will still have to have a regular visit!! 😄👍

Cannot knock this place at all, fantastic selection of real ales which is always changing. Friendly and knowledgable staff, the best pub by far within the Normanton and Altofts area, very likely beyond that too!

Watched one of the owners speak to a family disgusting! If you are not a family friendly pub I suggest you advertise this!

Poor family were left embarrassed even though they had done nothing wrong! Disappointing!

Very disappointed to receive such poor customer service from the landlord. I can't believe the way we were spoken to by the landlord. We won't be coming back and will spread the word! Absolutely shocking!

Very disappoint by the customer service of a so called landlord! I’ve worked in pubs for years and would dare speak to a customer like that. Pretty grim.

Terrible the way they just spoke to this family! We were here with our dog who the little boy was stroking, he never caused any problems and was so polite. Totally uncalled for by the management
