Today is a sad day for the roebuck, one of the best supervisors Liam Partington is leaving us to take on his dream job and join the navy!! I am so proud of all he has achieved and tonight we will celebrate his time here with drinks at the roebuck from 7pm! If anyone would like to come down and wish him well then please do!

Went to the blues brothers tribute band was ace had a top night loved every min of it fab can't wait for the Robbie Williams on the 31st May can't wait woohoo

Popped in with the family on Friday afternoon for lunch. Both kids eat for £1 each!! Think the deal is mon-fri 12-6pm. Really generous portions too. Very impressed and our meals were lovely too. Lucky to have such a great family pub just around the corner. Very friendly staff too!

Nice homely food. Never had a bad meal here ever.

Just finished a lovely meal top service from the second we walked in. The girls serving didn’t stop all the time we was in there rushed off there feet but still with a big smile and happy to help good work guys

I.called in for a sandwich, delicious, service good, I had a pot of tea, which was hot and tasted like tea (so many aren't today) with fresh milk

I went few weeks ago with friend really enjoyed meals (both lunch & night) improved better then last year & 2 years ago. The foods is good but the service wasn't very good wait too long also keep talked without look at them when they ready. But now better & so good quick service & good watch when we arrived then come quick when we ready that's good make us happy & come again. Like the change new colours paint.

Haven't been to the Roebuck yet, but the 5 stars are for Gerry and Pete the landlady and landlord.

Had a lovely meal here tonight - the beef fillet hanging kebab and the halloumi hanging kebab are highly recommended. Very reasonable price before 6pm as well.

Had a fabulous meal yesterday evening at the Roebuck. Atmosphere was great, food brilliant but What made it so lovely was the young girl who was serving food and clearing tables- I’ve since found out her name is Niamh. She was gorgeous-smiley, polite, well-mannered,a real little ray of sunshine. Just thought I’d give her a shout out as teenagers get such bad press these days. Well done young lady! Thanks for a great family evening!

Excellent pint of Holts bitter, well worth the visit. Don't bother with other local pubs if bitter is your choice

A great friendly pub with very good food at a great price! The staff are the best I've come across in a long time, very welcoming & chatty & nothing too much trouble. We was served by a very funny young man but did not get his name, but Chris will know who he is. And now to Chris, who is always smiley & very attentive making it a very enjoyable evening!! 5 stars out of 5 from me!!!!

RAW CHICKEN!.. I went last night and ordered the hanging chicken kebab, when I cut a piece of chicken in half it was still completely raw! I checked the other pieces and they were raw aswell! Service was terrible to top that off!

Only ordered a sandwich, which took 45 mins to get which they got wrong, and then the manager argued the time i ordered it, whilst on my reciept prooved it was 45 mins. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.!!!!!
