What a great night last night about 100 people descended on the pub and the staff handled it brilliantly great service great beer great music #primordial

User

Our choice of pre gig venue every time we're in Manchester. Bar staff are a good laugh, beer is a good price, pool table and more rock tracks on the jukebox than you can shake a pointy Lars Ulrich at

User

One of the finest ale bars in the north west bar none, friendly staff, and 50p off a pint or drink on production of a gig ticket. Superb venue

User

Lovely pub, great food even better ale, including Theakstons Old Peculier

User

Lovely atmosphere, get the drinks in and out on some bangers and you’re in for a fab night!

User

Loved it only been in a couple of times but will be defo back when in town

User

Love it in here such a great place...great music..great people...just a really good place to have a drink and meet people who are easy to talk too and have things in common with love it x

User

I’d heard about the Salisbury and the gig goers discount some time ago, so when I was Manchester for a gig at The Bridgewater Hall...I’ll give it a try. But the discount is on certain venues and Bridgewater Hall wasn’t one off them. It’s a great pub, cask ale hand pumps all along the bar and a rockers pub, it’s safe to say I’ll be going back in. And I’ll not leave it till I have a concert ticket to do so, cheers till next time.

User

Ive no idea where this place is or why i checked in here, but im sure its very nice xx

User

It’s a fantastic pub with great music! The service was great and the choice of music on the jukebox was superb. Will be back soon.

User

I like real people and real beer. I've loved the Salisbury since 1986. It was great then and it's great now. The staff are lush. It's got a lush atmosphere. It's a rock bar, and a beer drinker's bar. Apparently, Richard Leese wants to demolish it to extend Oxford Road train station. Don't let him. Drink beer and listen to music in the Salisbury. It's f"cking lush. Signed, A Geordie

User

Had intended one pre-gig drink in here, stayed for three hours. Left the gig later, and the entire group immediately said "back to the pub from before?" where we stayed until stupid o'clock. New favourite pub in Manchester - incredibly friendly clientele and hosts (even when we were drunk and loud), great beer, lovely decor, and best jukebox ever (they have frickin' Kvelertak on there!). Unconditional recommendation.

User

Great rock pub! We took a day off & came over to Manchester for a trip around some music shops, then we found this gem! We asked for some Faith No More, and boy did we get it! Thank you for making our day!

User

Great place fabulous great music fabulous surroundings good choice of ales xxxx

User

Great Pub, with good music, nice people and delicious beer! Best Regards from Germany

User

Best pub in Manchester and the best jukebox of any pub I've ever been in

User

Best Rock/Metal pub in the city.Reasonably priced in comparison to other pubs in the vicinity. No cliques, just a friendly welcome. The perfect stop off for pre Academy drinks.

User

Ace metallers pub, full of filthy dirty metallers and punks and goths, the best people 😀

User

Nipped in for a pint and barman said the missus pink and black adidas hoody was not allowed , turned round and went next door . Complete tools .
