The Salvation Army is a Christian Church and registered charity. Wigan Corps is based in the Scholes area of Wigan, not far from the town centre.

This Sunday (9.6.19) we celebrate Pentecost. Our meeting is at 10:45am and anyone is welcome. Tea and coffee is served afterwards.
On Monday (3.6.19) is the next Craft and Chat Group. It starts with soup and a roll, cake, tea and coffee. £2 per person. We look forward to seeing you.
At 7:30pm on Tuesday 18th June, our CAMEO group will be hosting a Quiz Night. You are welcome to come along and get involved or bring a quiz team. Supper will be provided. Donations towards Wigan Salvation Army can also be made. Please let us know if you plan to be there.
The Noah's Ark Toddler group will not be meeting tomorrow because it is half term. We meet again on Wednesday 5th June, from 10:00am till 12:00noon. See you then.
This Sunday, (2.6.19) as well as our usual Sunday Morning Meeting at 10:45am (tea and coffee served afterwards), Cafe Church will take place at 4:30pm. This includes relaxed worship and light refreshments. All welcome.
On Monday (20.5.19 @ 11:45am) is Singing By Heart. This event is designed for those that are living with dementia and their carers. It starts with soup and a roll, cake, tea and coffee. On Sunday (19.5.19 @ 10:45am) it is Candidates Sunday at Wigan Salvation Army (1 week late). We will be giving thanks for those that God calls into Church leadership as Salvation Army Officers and giving opportunity for people to respond to the Holy Spirits leading for all types of leadership within The Salvation Army. A retiring collection for those going into the ministry will be taken.
On Sunday (12.5.19) we had the enrollment of Hazel, our newest Senior Soldier. We were very excited and moved by the service and give thanks to God for her commitment to Him.
The Toddler group have made Wild Flower Window Catchers for their craft this morning.
This Monday is Bank Holiday so we have postponed the Craft and Chat Group to the following week, 13th May. See you then!
You are invited to join us on Tuesday 21st May 2019 at 7:30pm for an evening with Major Nigel Tansley MBE who is going to talk to us about The Salvation Army's Emergency Response work in the North West of England. Refreshments will be available.
