Finally our new takeaway containers have arrived.
Fancy a pint of that lovely 8.2% IPA or that 10.5% Imperial Russian Stout but you're driving? Well now you can take up to 4 pints home to try when you've tucked your car up in the garage for the night and you won't get breathalysed.
They only cost £1 and are reusable.

After lots of pushing we've finally got the grand old Victorian lights back on. Looking good and thanks to Mike in the model shop for pushing for their switching back on too.

Another excellent Snug Beer Club, thank you to all who made it so enjoyable. Today's winnner was the Devil's Delight Imperial Stout, a Northern Monk/Lervig (Norway) collaboration at 9%.

We're having a wonderful day, raising funds for Carnforth Salvation Army's Christmas lunch for people who would otherwise be alone, and a wonderous surprise guest has just joined us.

What an ace pint, I thought I had missed the last orders at 4:30. Getting into the bar I was made welcome and got my pint of insomnia dark Porter and it made my wait go in no time. Fantastic little venue and for its size puts big pubs to shame, thank you.

We visited this lovely pub last night. We loved the beer, the cosy feel and the company. It was very friendly and definitely worth a visit. Thank you x

This a smashing micro pub with a great selection of real ales and ciders, along with bottled beers, as a bonus no lagers or smooth flow available. Great friendly atmosphere.

Small, compact pub on Carnforth railway station. Excellent beer selection, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

It's the best pub in Carnforth. Outstanding, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a visit.

It's great, my favourite micropub. Friendly staff and excellent ales from all over the country.

Great selection of Cask Ales and Gins. Chip off Fri is a good laugh, very friendly customers and staff.

Great little place, awesome selection of real ales and great Ciders, a really warm welcome and fantastic atmosphere. If your in Carnforth, and you like real ale and real people, it is a must visit.

Fantastic venue, with great customer service. Greg is always a great host, sadly we don't get to visit as often as we'd like, but always enjoy it when we do, and we are always remembered. Always a great choice of beer.

Fabulous, tiny Micropub located on the disused mainline platforms at Carnforth Station. Greg, the landlord always maintains a well balanced range of at least 5 interesting real ales in tip-top condition,along with a good selection of traditional ciders. Well worth missing a train for!

Called in on our way to a weekend break in the lakes . Our second visit unfortunately the 1 st time we just missed out as you were closed . We loved The Snug very welcoming and friendly people . Bloody ace.Friendly staff and customers were really welcoming.I did hold back on the complimentary chilli cos I saw certain folk struggling�It really is a snug and a lush one at that.I want to rename it a Cwtch �

Two of us popped in yesterday for a pre-Xmas meal drink, for a couple of pints. The beer was ace but we were a bit disappointed that you wouldn't make our tee total friend, who joined us, a cup of tea like you did last December. Suggesting he went to the station cafe isn't quite the same isn't it?



Fortunately the staff at The Canal Turn were happy to make him as many pots as he wanted.

Excellent, friendly little pub with always a range of beers at attractive prices on offer.

9 Different Ciders on last night can not argue with that ....sadly only had time for 2 but will be back ....

Just walked in at 2.30pm to be told by a lady behind the bar that your closed. Despite your online opening times as being between 12noon and 9pm. Customers drinking in there already comment that they are back open at five. Totally unprofessional.
