Ohhh, I do like this place, first visit, very quiet. Music is non intrusive, tv sound is turned all the way down. Food was large plate sized, mixed grill with side salad, it took just about as long as it took me to finish the first pint, (I order two along with the food, one to drink while waiting, one to wash the salad down). Hobgoblin is on the beer engine, so I had two. Pics attached, will prob be back again in a week or so.

My wife and I regulal went for a meal and yes it did go down alot concerning the food not happy as sent back for not being piping hot, after that only had drinks,so begining of the month March noticed the menu had changed WOW what a change every thing about it was excellent maybe a 1 off.

Wrong went again had the grill steak chicken,gammon,egg,sausage,jacket potato , peas and tomato,good value defiantly going again ,come on AJ

Loved the football today. Atmosphere was amazng. Great service by Zoe the ref with our Budweiser.

I would like to thank the bouncer on the door last night. I felt hot and went outside for fresh air I then fainted I had only been drinking pop. But the bouncer was so caring and compassionate. He got me some water gave me his coat and helped me to a taxi. A big thank you!! Xx

I was part of a large group of walkers that visited the Spinning Jenny today. We all agreed that the food, drink and service were excellent. The two ladies behind the bar could not have been more helpful. This was the second time I have visited and the other time it was great too! It is a pity that we do not live closer because I would use the pub regularly. Could you please thank the staff for me?

I love this pub for the Dj and price of drinks.

But please sort out the locks on the toilet doors and get rid of the nasty carpets.

Decor wise it could do with a spruce up. Food ok and reasonably priced. Only ever been in at lunchtime.

The food & staff were lovely but allowing people to smoke the e-cigs should not be allowed & has completely spoiled the afternoon for me! My mum was sat eating her food & was covered in a cloud of smoke!! Wanted to stay for another drink & dessert but needed fresh air!! ’┐Į

Not sure about food not eaten there for a few years but at weekend the floor is so sticky and the toilets are minging it's a good night if you are not too particular

Had dinner here today with my husband and are 2 daughter's sorry to say but the food has really gone down hill my pie was burnt on the in side of the lid my husband's beef was hard won't be eating here again

not happy one bit. I've just been for my dinner with my partner and children. I ordered chicken and bacon melt sat down to eat it and found a long hair stuck in my cheese, so I complained as you do... and they refund me 50p. what on earth am I supposed to do with 50p? what a joke.

Went with my wife. The barmaid /waitress had a face like a slapped arse couldn't even be bothered to crack a smile. When my wife ordered our food she looked so confused and didn't no what she was doing. Waited over half hour for food and she served red wine with ice wtf only go again for a bag off crisps.

Went for something to eat today, ordered the burger meal and as you do putting salt and vinegar on chips/onion rings, half way through the meal we noticed a LOAD of little flies inside the actual vinegar bottle, we went up to the bar and told them for him to take it off us throw it in the bin and then wasn't to be seen for 10+ minutes before coming to the table to have our money thrown at us. No apology nothing, disappointed as food is normally nice but will never go back now.

One of the bar staff had terrible costomer service and i basically paid 7.50 for chips and curry cause they didnt have any rice but they didnt tell me they decided to tell me minutes before my food came to the table. Also paid for go large extra 1.50 but it obviously didnt make a difference cause i only had chips anyway.

I've given you a 1 because you don't give us the option of 0. Customer service was terrible! A member of staff had clocked off and when we had complained the member of staff (think I heard someone shout Dannielle to her) was giving us something we had paid extra for and not got with our food shouted the member of staff who wasn't working anymore to bring it over instead of coming resolving the issue her self. ┬Ż7.50 my friend basically paid for chips and curry because we was only told there was no rice when the food came. She was basically ignoring me when I was being civil.

Also my son didn't even eat his tea either and he eats anything!

Do not go here for food! got a sunday lunch and it was stone cold, sent it back and 15 mins later my new one came out and it was luke warm. Got a lemon mirengue for afters and it was roasting hot!
