Wonderful food at the steamie this evening. Came for Hubby's birthday. Hadn't thought to book but staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food and service were truly exceptional. Freshly prepared to order and hand cut, giant chips. Yum!

We’ve had our Christmas do last night and was amazing! Great food, lovely service and the staff really nice!

Was pleasantley surprised. tucked away great spot . great atmosphere. very friendly food was excellent and tasted divine. first time here, but wont be the LAST. 10 out of 10

Usually pop in once or twice a month for a quick drink, love the place and the kids are made welcome. We'll usually have had the Greek bar snacks, which are great. Deecided to try the restaurant last night. Food was excellent, have been to Zante a couple of times and can honestly say its as good as anything I've eaten there.

The food is great, the staff are friendly and helpful and it has a good atmosphere. It's like pubs used to be in a way with a lovely bar. They also have a Greek Restaurant at the back of the pub which from what people have told me is excellent. It also has an open mic night and is dog friendly. What more could you want

Really enjoyed the food especially the minted lamb burger � and my dad loved it cause he's a train spotter, so for him to train spot and eat good food at the same time is a huge bonus. We most certainly be going again.

Popped in with my partner for a pint or two after a long morning in the sun. A wide selection of real ales, quality gins and a warm and friendly welcome greeted us.

Only my 2nd visit, but oh so good! Nice selection of beers, including Lieffmans on tap, Lovely atmosphere and Greek restaurant is the best! Tasty food, we had rather large selection of starters, and they were all delicious. You have to try feta cheese filo pastry with honey - it's to die for! The host is so friendly and tells you so much about Greece, very attentive service. Loved it! Thank you, we will be back :)

Lovely atmosphere, food delious and reasonably priced. Great you can take dogs in too, means you have to walk there and obviously drink more 🤣

Loved this re-purposed railway station and museum of railway memorabilia. Fabulous staff, great eating experience in one of three refurbished Pullman coaches, excellent grub in the old coal yard and immaculately kept.

IF, I had a criticism it would be regarding the cask ales advertised but only one was available when I visited.

Otherwise, top banana!

Had an awesome Greek Meze in here today. The service, the food, the ambience was absolutely spot on! Highly recommend a visit. It's like a secret slice of Grece tucked away in Urmston. Hats off to you at the Steamhouse

Gorgeous food, nice variety of beer that's reasonably priced and some of the best bar staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Will definitely return 👍🏻

Best burger i have had in Urmston. I Had the the messy burger meal on the specials menu and it was freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Yesterday was a challenging day with our 3 month year old baby who was playing up. The child facilities are great for a pub but that didn't help her mood.



My wife and I would like to say a massive thank you to the girl behind the bar who sorted out getting our food order packaged up so we could eat it at home as baby was being too noisy. Although everyone in the pub were lovely and didn't seem bothered at all with our screaming child.



Definitely recommend to anyone looking to eat or drink in Urmston �

Ah sure like the food at the Steamhouse man an ah make mah way through the menu most every day. I like the fish dishes `specially and they shore help to keep mah weight down. I like chillin` in The Steamy the day after a big gig an` the bar tenders are real friendly, just like back home. I dig the music at the Open Mic nights, those cats are really cool and I will be see yah all soon. Take it easy.

A group of us booked the Festive menu in advance. Upon arrival, we were quickly shown to our table, which had been set nicely with crackers and Xmas decorations. The food was generous in portion, presented well, and extremely tasty. The staff were fabulous, friendly, and really hardworking, so we felt very looked after. Everyone in the group commented upon what a great choice it was to have our Christmas celebration there. Thank you to all! :)

We had a fantastic Greek meal here on Saturday night. 9 of us came along for a 70th birthday celebration and we all loved it (70 down to a 4yo!) Food was amazing & big portions! Run by a lovely team as well who went through the menu, drink & couldn't have been nicer. Would recommend (and have done this morning!) this to everyone.

Enjoyed the german selection of lagers !!!! Friendly place to drink .
