We were luck enough to win a three course meal and wine for two at the stocks tavern and would like to Thank you so much for the beautiful meal, everything was just delicious and cooked perfectly and served in beautiful surroundings with great hospitality from your lovely staff, we will be recommending to all friends and family and looking forward to returning with them... We regularly have lunch & dinner here and alway have fabulous food & service.

Recently we hired the pub area for my husbands birthday party � we had a fabulous night , the staff were great very accommodating & the food was lovely everyone commented how good it tasted, highly recommend !! Thankyou again to all the staff

We came for my sons birthday tonight, food was excellent, the staff were friendly, highly recommend you guys, we shall be back in March x

We called in for a mid week evening meal here. The staff were really friendly and there was a lovely welcome upon our arrival. A choice of areas to sit left us soooilt for choice but we opted for the big wingbacked armchairs. Perfect for an autumnal evening. I thoroughly enjoyed a seabass dish which came placed on delicate rice noodles and my partner opted for the pork belly dish which was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back here very soon. Great staff, great food and great surroundings

The refurbishment is fantastic and has totally transformed it. Great menu choices, the food was delicious, excellent gin menu, reasonably priced wine. All the staff were excellent , the service was friendly but not intrusive. We ordered extra chips after the food arrived and these were served promptly and delicious.

Our first visit but certainly won't be our last. The food is amazing! Generous portions all excellently presented and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Beautifully clean and well decorated. Toilets were also spotless. Can't wait to go and eat here again. We will catch the train next time so we can go through the gin menu!

It was Bank Holiday and we were fitted in at short notice right on restaurant last orders. Food was lovely and service super.

I'd give more stars if I could. We have just got back from breakfast with santa.

The whole thing was so well organised. Our table was right by Santa and at first my daughter was too shy to talk to Santa, he kept coming over to visit our table and by the end she was running to find hime and cuddling him goodbye.

The food was gorgeous.

The tables were set lovely and it was a really magical atmosphere.

Thank you for a very special Christmas Eve we will back again next year to keep up this tradition xxxx

My partner and I came for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were really attentive and provided table service. I had the steak strip baguette and he had the duck and hoisin wrap. We then opted for a refreshing Tanqurey 10 and a Bathtub Gin. We really enjoyed it and would come again! Definately recommend.
