A huge congratulations to Freya Boyd, year 9 who will be representing our school against all other secondary school 1st place winners. Her work will now be framed and delivered to St Georges Hall for an exhibition (date to be confirmed by DOT ART)
Freya's work has been inspired by the artist Kelly Boyle, who works in coloured biro pens. Using her set of coloured BICS Freya has designed her own A3 pen drawing incorporating all of her favourite things and hobbies.
Congratulations also to Euan Sandiford 2nd Place and MJ Duffy 3rd Place.

REVISION TIP 5: Collaborate with classmates. If you find your coursework too much to tackle alone, then why not collaborate with friends. Mix up your study habits and methods by listening to podcasts, watching videos or documentaries, moving to a new study area or even something as simple as using different colours for your study notes. Please visit our website for further tips and advice for students and parents. https://www.thesuttonacademy.org.uk/page/ …

REVISION TIP 4: Use Mind Maps to connect ideas. If you find it difficult to remember tons of new study notes, Mind Maps may be the key to improving your memory. The theory behind mind mapping explains that making associations by connecting ideas helps you to memorise information easier and quicker.
