Baby Showers our Speciality. The Travellers Rest Euxton
Thanks Richard for Rolling into The Travellers Rest. Made our day and our customers too. Hope to see you again soon with your 1912 built 12 Ton Steamroller.
We hope all of our customers present and future are enjoying this beautiful weather. Our terrace garden is having it's spring make over and looking lovely- perfect for Pimm's o'clock! A quick message to the person who "relieved" me of my terracotta pots- I hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
Not just Doggy Friendly at Christmas! Doggy Friendly for life!!
Well done to all our team at The Travellers Rest. Scored 4 with the EHO score on the doors out of 5 also 4 out of 5 with Trip advisor. Congratulations and well done.
We love the visits from all our four legged friends and are always willing to accommodate and replenish. We do ask if you are out and about and wanting to have our 5* treatment for you and your four legged friend we do have paddock for them to use but we take no responsibility while they are in there. But we will love them like they are one of our own.
What a fantastic evening! Not only are we dog friendly but now horse friendly! Small paddock but pop in for a drink or meal, let your horses graze and water.
Take your Dad out this father's day to the Traveller's Rest family friendly, dog friendly great selection of cask ales and whiskeys. Feel the love because we know you deserve it❤

Come down to the Traveller's rest this bank holiday weekend great food, friendly atmosphere, amazing beer garden front and back. Also dog friendly. Open all weekend including bank holiday Monday.
Young girls serving are always friendly and welcoming. Good menu with something for all . I had the fish and chips this time and it was yummy . My husband had the scampi and he enjoyed it too. We have been about 5 times and everything has always been as good as the last . We will be back again and recommend to our friends. Would be nice to see the fires on and make it
A little warmer , we
May of stayed a little longer after our meal and had a night cap if there was a nice fire to sit by .
Would defiantly recommend coming here. Friendly staff, outstanding food, brilliant portions & very well priced !
If you want home cooked food and not bought in rubbish then this is the place !
I had the meat lasagne which was beautiful! Served with garlic bread and salad
The Mrs had the drunken pot which you can notice that the meat is slow cooked and very tender! This was served with mash, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables !
What an amazing time!
This place is a must must must for everybody
We went for a meal about 4 weeks ago for my dad's 80th birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for my birthday yesterday.
The staff are friendly, kind and considerate. The food is excellent. We had a variety of food, from pizza to sirloin steak. I would recommend it all.
Perhaps a few extra choices on dessert?
We have just visited the Traveller's Rest tonight with our two older relatives and what a lovely experience.
There is a nice welcome when you arrive and as I had previously mentioned when I telephoned; I had two older ladies with me they offered us a choice of suitable tables.
The service is prompt, you are asked what you want to drink immediately then informed of the specials board and the menu.
The food choices were explained as we ordered with a lovely guy who was really friendly with my mum and auntie who are hard of hearing.
The food is very fresh; home cooked style and of a really good standard.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the lovely setting and will definitely return again.
Thanks to all the staff at the Travellers for a lovely evening

This was the second year we ate Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day and yet again we had a fabulous meal. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was super, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went above and beyond to help me as I had a badly broken ankle. A huge thank you to all the staff for a very enjoyable experience. I think it's safe to say this is my favourite pub restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone.
The food was tasty, plenty of it, plus very good value for the amount paid (£35) for a 3 course meal for 2 inc of a large wine and coke. Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being in your face. Would definitely recommend eating here.
Thank you, me and hubby had a lovely evening meal for our anniversary 😊
Stopped here yesterday for tea food was beutifull and the service was excellent i couldn't recommend the place highly enough
Stopped here on the way home from Southport on Sunday and loved it. Lovely food, I had the roast dinner and my partner had the steak pie which were both delicious plus an amazing jam roll poly!! We took our dog and he was made most welcome with water and treats. Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you.
Rang up to book 8 people and a baby for 5.30 Sunday. Kitchen closed at 6pm but we was made welcome. No push to order or when we got starters no pestering to hurry up. Absolutely lovely food. Great service. Well done!
Never been bedore. Fab food and good meal for all which made our afternoon with old friends even more enjoyable. The steak and kidney pudding was amazing 🖒🖒
Lovely staff, lovely food and lovely place. Will definitely be back.
Had my baby shower here! The staff and owner were wonderful and we were able to leave decorations, balloons and cakes the night before so staff could decorate the room ready for our arrival, the room looked beautiful! Thank you girls! Highly recommended x
Great pub, friendly staff and dog friendly in the parlour. We are regular visiters to this pub, and with all my food allergies, they are only too happy to invent something I can eat - all you have to do is ask.
Good food and great choice of beers and ales and ciders . The staff are friendly and treated my dog like he was at home
Completely disagree with some of the bad reviews, but everyone's entitled to an opinion.
We rang to ask for availability on Fathers days evening and you could here the lady on the phone and staff in the background doing what they could to free up a table, which they did!
Got here the food was timely, tasty and the staff friendly!
Much recommended!!! Thank you
Came here last night for a meal with my son, lovely helpful staff and was seen too straight away, both of us had a 3 course meal and it was delicious, can highly recommend the steak pudding and the fish and chips, will be back again
Called with my 1912 built 12 Ton Steamroller and was made very welcome! Whilst we filled her up with water, we filled up with a very nice lunch and a pint. Many thanks to Judith and the team.
A joint birthday lunch for my hubby and I (we are a month apart) we all opted for the Sunday lunch and none of us were disappointed. Plentiful portions, succulent meat and fresh vegetables and amazing yorkshire puds :-)
