Went for our traditional Christmas Eve family dinner. The meals were all delicious and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. This was evident around the pup as all staff could be seen visibly taking and interest in the customers and ensured we never had an empty glass.

Took my mum and dad for there 47th wedding anniversary and was met with a friendly homly atmosphere from all the staff .we enjoyed r meals and was astonished at the total price for the evening we left feeling like we had won lottery .very tasty food welcoming staff and well worth the money .Thanx trigger pond staff and chef

Took my mam for dinner today.. The meal was like it had been warmed up from yesterday.. It’s not the only time we’ve had this .. I won’t be going back there again .. My dad use to say .. pubs are for beer and Restaurants are for food . All this two for one deals are rubbish .. I spent the weekend in Germany were they make the effort to serve you .. Poor service here. Yet again

Took my husband for his birthday. The meal as always was very good. Couldn't fault the service. The girls were all friendly and couldn't do enough. See you again soon.

My husband and I have visited here several times over the past 7 years. Always had quality service and food, with the exception of one or two visits years ago. We recently moved away and have come back on holiday and this was the first place we came and we were definitely not disappointed. We've been twice this week and on both occasions, our steaks were cooked to perfection and the service from Claire and the supervisor (who's name I regretfully forgot to ask) was fantastic, polite and accomodating.

Thank you for being so welcoming and proving why we absolutely love this place and love bringing our family and friends.

My friend and I went for lunch. Considering it was half-term and the place was very busy, we didn’t have to wait long and the food was lovely. The only problem for us was getting up to see the Specials board, maybe print it out for immobile people like us? Will definitely go again

Been tonight for a family meal(9 of us) to celebrate my sister's 30th. Staff fantastic. Food served fast n taste beautiful. Most had the mixed grill and cooked just how we ordered it. Would highly recommend. We will be back. Thanks again �

Absolutely loved the rump steak and chips service was top notch too will be back again as this was my first time

30 of us went for my brothers 50th

Staff were great and friendly

went here on 28th oct early birthday meal husband has 20oz mix girl he was disappointed with it as was only very small not much on there for the price few things was missing ect black pudding peas mushroom. but food was very nice, and puddings very nice as well

Excellent meal and service for me, my husband, daughter, son in law and granddaughter. Well done to the staff as it was very busy on Sunday

Went on 19 nov to be told no roast dinners left as run out of meats, really disappointing at 4.30pm. Ordered the gammon v.nice but not what i really wanted. Pub was full tables around us were reserved whats the point if 6 things were sold out most were specials on the menu

It's a nice enough pub. Young girls serving you could at least put a smile on their face and make you feel welcome though.. it's not hard to make a little small talk. The food was ok.. we have been twice now and the mixed grill is always 'off the menu as they have run out of meat. We had coffee with our meal which was luke warm and I think there must be a ration on sugar, had to keep asking for some. Overall I probably wouldn't go a third time �

Waited long time for food bought thr refill drinks an asked three times for refill never revived them bar staff not enough behind the bar to serve drinks an to let customers pay for the meals kids eat for 1 pound was charged full price meals was over cooked used to be very good meal an service was put off coming again yesterday tables was also dirty / sticky an floors dirty

Visited here last night to celebrate my brother and sister in laws 10 year anniversary. They didn't have any Peroni left so my Dad and brother ordered a different ale only to be told 5 minutes later this too was not available. The food order was taken. Only for the waiter to return to say there wasn't one of the meals we ordered available so had to choose something different. We finally received our meals, the new potatoes that we received on one of the childrens meals just weren't edible. Once finished and as our plates were being cleared 2 of us asked for our drinks to be refilled. The waiter returned 10 to 15 minutes later and said, the drinks wont be a minute. By this time we were ready to leave and never did receive them. Won't be returning in a hurry!

Been here for a meal lots of times and it has been very nice food. However tonight was absoulutley disgusting the chicken was like jelly the nachos was burnt the chips was full of grease. Very disappointing � don’t think I’ll be visiting again!!!!

We went last night 5 adults 2 children at 6.15. We ordered, food took almost an hour and our dirty plates were still on the table at 9 when we left. I took empty glasses back to the bar twice. Only whilst reading the drinks menu at the end did we find out you can get free soft drink refills by paying an additional 85p. So for 2 children and the 2driving adults this would have been ideal if someone had mentioned it instead of charging £2.70 for a large coke! Food was blah, service was non existent.
