Went for our Sunday Dinner today and it was absolutely gorgeous, so tasty � 8 year old niece couldn't manage hers so we were given the plate to take it home so she could have it later. Also we got to take our puddings home (we were in a rush!) and they were lovely too. Great value at £7.65 for 2 courses! We will definitely be back, thank you � Xx

We went to a surprise party in the Tudor Rose we had a fantastic night staff were spot on plus bonus of the kareoki/ disco was great we would definitely go back

We had a Christmas party night here last Thursday and it was brilliant! Lovely food , beautiful festive table decorations and great service. Gemma was so helpful while I arranged it and the staff who served us on the night were all fabulous and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you!

Was nice had no complaints friendly people service with a smile as you would expect. Only 1 thing totally undercutting yourself on deserts even at £3.00 a desert is more than reasonable. Put it up

Visited today, had a lovely Sunday lunch with apple pie and custard, couldn't fault the food or the service x

Not a regular exactly though I have lived in Dunston for 30 odd years but I pop in to The Tudor for a few beers every now and again. Love the pub and always a friendly great service. Lovely pint of Guinness every time.

I live in dunston only a couple of streets away from the Tudor rose and pop in most weekends as it's one of my local pubs I'm always maded to feel welcome by Gemma and Chris they always make time to speak to you even when it's really busy the food has always been delicious and me and my husband and 2 sons eat here quite a lot great atmosphere friendly locals and it's family friendly they welcome kids great people no drugs at all they run a tight ship which is briiliant to know and never any trouble or fighting and if there is there out straight away and barred keep up the great work guys best pub in dunston xx

I did Facepainting in this pub for St. George's day ...such a lovely pub with friendly staff .. i finished work went home to get changed and went back to the pub with friends.. we all had a fantastic day.. will definitely be going back the atmosphere was lovely 😊 xx

Had my first Christmas meal hear today I couldn't fault it at all beautiful people good service and the best food in Newcastle good quality of food and after your starter your full but cheap as chips and I would recommend anyone to go hear for a crimbo lunch or tea and good cost on drinks I hope u all at the tudore Rose have a lovely Christmas and a great new year this won't be the last time I go hear again for something to eat

Had Sunday Lunch here today, for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed it..

Roast Beef was nice and tender, the mashed potato, rich and creamy, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and peas cooked to perfection, crispy roasties, and lovely rich gravy topped with a home made Yorkshire pudding, wonderful.. The staff a pleasant and well mannered.

The price at £5.95 is more than fair.. The weather topped the lazy Sunday off nicely

Lovely place, nicely refurbished. Would recommend it to any one... It's worth more than 5 stars!!

Gemma and Chris (Owner of Tudor Rose )are very friendly . I remember the first day I came there , they made me feel welcome especially Gemma , sorry Chris �. One thing that I really like is about the people , I noticed that everybody knows everyone , the smile on their face is the one that strikes me the most .and also I love their accent . They are all like one big family . It amazed me because I don’t see this in London The owner are very accommodating , they talked to everybody and have shown that they have a great communication or relationship to each and everyone of their customers . I love their karaoke day �. Ive only been there few times but I feel like I am belong in that community .i will definitely recommend this place because people are kind warm interesting ,caring and loving . Food wise �yummy ! I always feel great happy and excited every time I come to this place . Also it feels like you keep coming back ....through TUDOR ROSE I became close to someone very special and met nice people and become my friends ...

Fantastic family ran pub in a great location with extensive drink and food choices. Food is always amazing at unbeatable prices and Sunday lunch is top notch, best beef in town and pretty impressive Yorkshire puds too. Always the place to be on a weekend. I've been a regular here for years and Gemma and Chris have been every bit the perfect hosts. Always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and made to feel like part of the extended family. There's something for everyone at the Tudor Rose from Karaoke, pub quiz to buskers night, and they even have a local darts and pool team. Not to mention the family fun days and live bands outdoors in the summer. Always enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere here. Great local with a great community feel about it. Always 10/10. Keep up the excellent work! �

Nice clean pub, the gentleman behind the bar was welcoming there were 9 of us in Dunstan for the football, only downside I could see was the only bitter they had on was Banks which I don't like, so drank one of the continental lagers which were on offer which was a decent pint at a reasonable price.

Amazing pub ran by amazing people!

Quiz night every Tuesday are a must if you haven't been already, also don't forget the Halloween party soon.

Nice clean pub, the gentleman behind the bar was welcoming there were 9 of us in Dunstan for the football, only downside I could see was the only bitter they had on was Banks which I don't like, so drank one of the continental lagers which were on offer which was a decent pint at a reasonable price.
