Here at The Vagabond, we value our customers and appreciate all the feedback that we receive. That’s why we’ve decided to listen to you!!! We have been working hard behind the scenes to create a new, fantastic menu that incorporates the old favourites along with some of the best pub dishes that you have wanted to see offered at The Vagabond. We have added a range of new combinations to our extensive pizza list, as we pride ourselves in offering some... of Whitehaven’s best pizzas!!! Spanish, Italian, Carnivora are some to name a few, and doesn’t ‘The Hangover Pizza’ sound like the perfect cure for a Sunday? We have also kept our famous Sunday lunches due to popular demand, which will be available for delivery between 12pm-8pm on a Sunday. And it gets even better - we have also adapted our drinks list to offer a wide range of wines, gins and cocktails. But of course, our real ale selection will always remain exclusive to us at The Vagabond, as exemplified with our recent “CAMRA Pub of the Season” award 🥇 So what are you waiting for? We had a lovely meal as my husband got the T-bone steak, half a plate of salad and home cooked chips, he said it was lovely. I had an Hawaiian pizza with feta cheese on that was lovely too but too big for me, waitress was friendly and asked if I wanted to take the rest home! Would definitely go again! Great service and great food!!

I had gluten free pizza, I have to say it was one of the nicest I've ever had. Lovely food and good service �

Had a takeaway from vagabond for the first time tonight definitely will not be the last time beautiful, 4 cheese pizza and the 4 meat one home made chunky chips was delivered piping hot will be a regular customer from now on xx thank you xx

Had a lovely meal here with my nephew on Sunday night. The food was fresh and hot and very tasty (penne al forno and a pizza). We then had the cheesecake of the day which was peanut butter cheesecake served with ice cream, chocolate sauce and little chocolate beans scattered over. Looking forward to planning another meal there.

Great chilled out pub ,resturant. Awesome food.very friendly staff. I recomend anyone to go try this place out .I garuentee you won't be dissapointed...

Absolutely loved this place.my daughter is very fussy dosnt eat meat veg etc they are always flexible for her.we eat both in and takeaway sunday dinners never disappoints. Very reasonably priced and delivered hot. Friendly welcoming staff always a pleasant experience thank you

Food was lovely but slightly disappointed that when we booked for 8.30 it wasn't explained that the kitchen closed at 9.30 consequently there was a delay in being served for our suite order ... Nevertheless the night was very enjoyable

Sorry to say, because the food was lovely once it arrived but the service was, at best, lacklustre. One friendly member of staff doesn't negate waiting an hour for a meal or having to constantly chase staff for service at every point from being seated to paying the bill. Also I've just found out a friend, also eating there this evening, was brought the wrong meal and despite not eating it and bringing it up with the staff was charged for it. This is simply bad management and I'm left feeling disappointed, having enjoyed the meal, that I won't be returning in the future due to our experience tonight. I know there may be a response about fresh meals taking time to make but with respect, I've worked in the trade and nothing takes that long to produce with preparation and good management.

3 cask ales but only pale hoppy beers on. All tables empty but "reserved ". If that's the best pub in Whitehaven ( which i understand it is) the rest must be poor.
