First workshop back in the first week of term I had my new ‘school’ shoes (winter boots 🙈), jeans & cardigan & had even bought some new stationary 🤣 after 6weeks of teaching our under 16s I’ve felt like I’ve totally got out of routine! working different hours & the children going to nursery, so I was glad to get back to ‘normal’ what ever the heck that is 🙊 has anyone else been craving ‘normal’ over the summer holidays? So thank you ladies for such a lovely chatty giggle making these gorgeous knot bags!!! Our customers really are the best 👌🏻 xx

User

We're really excited to have a lovely new knitting tutor, she has years of experience & can literally knit just about anything!! But before sessions start we'd love your feedback to make sure the sessions are just what you want!!!
What would you like to learn/make? beginners classes? refreshers? intermediate projects? knit & natter session? project support? how to follow pattern?
Please give us as many ideas/opinions/detail as you like...we want these sessions to work for you so the more information we have the better suited to your needs they can be :-D

Oh WOW! As if I've never written a review! Thanks Facebook! The Vintage Sewing Bunny is by far my favourite place to go and lose track of time! Social sewing on Wednesday and Friday is full of fabulous and inspiring women [and sometimes men] who just love to chat and get crafty! Lucy, Lesley and Darcy who work there are all super stars and couldn't be more helpful or supportive of everyones crafts and queries! Just over a year ago I did my first class 'beginners sewing' after not sewing for years and now I sew on my machine everyday and have set up a business called Whoopsie Daisie making some of my favourite pieces for babies, toddlers and their parents! I'm so grateful for VSB and can't recommend enough - whether you're an avid sewer, a beginner, a knitter or a cut and sticker! <3

User

My first class ever and I absolutely LOVED it! Lucy was amazing and very knowledgeable and the other ladies on the course were so nice too! I'd highly recommend Lucy and her courses to any 'would-be' sewer of of any ability. Its definitely given me the sewing 🐝bee bug again and I'll be booking back for another course soon. Xxx

User

My 2 little Lady's attended an Easter workshop and made cute little Bunny bags. Really lovely atmosphere and surroundings, Great simple instructions and guidance for the girls (and me!) They were both happily sewing away on the machine by the end. And biscuits to boot! We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

User

Lucy never fails to amaze me - with her patience, passion and just general 'niceness'! Would highly recommend to anyone at any level - you will get the help and support you need, both from Lucy and also the many lovely individuals who attend the sessions.

User

I’ve only had 2 lessons so far! Lucy is a brilliant tutor, patient and very knowledgeable - I’m enjoying discovering what my sewing machine can do and already putting my new found skills to use - thank you Lucy

User

I’ve loved every workshop I’ve done at VSB. Very friendly and teaching is done in simple steps. My favourite is a pair of dungarees for my newborn grandson. I’ve made some lovely things that look much better than I thought I could make

User

I’ve attended 6 of the social classes so far this year and enjoyed each one, I am learning new skills and I come home with a finished project.

Would highly recommend this lovely friendly venue.

User

I've done about half a dozen workshops with Lucy and I'm addicted to this place. Lucy is a fab teacher with oodles of patience for beginners and her approach sets a really nice atmosphere in the workshops giving a chance to meet and share with others learning. A little haven of confidence building combined with beautiful fabrics.

User

I've done 5 of Lucy's sewing workshops now. I've had a great time at each of them and come away not just with a nice item, but also with new skills and tips which I can use on projects at home. The social sewing is fun, small projects that get you going, learn new skills, drink tea,and learn so much without really trying.

User

I found Lucy at her shop in St Annes by chance. I wanted my late Mum's old kilt to be made into a pair of teddy bears for my daughters in time for Christmas.

I came up with the idea quite late and left Lucy with little time to complete the job, but she did an absolutely superb job of them and in time too! And at a very reasonable price too!

The kids absolutely LOVE the bears and the tears flowed when they unwrapped them! The only drawback is now have to go back with another kilt for my niece after she saw them!

A really lovely and helpful lady who has bent over backwards for me.

Thank you so much, Lucy! :-)

User

Have had the most thereputic day learning a new skill with an amazing "teacher" Karen from tulle and candy floss. What I really love is it is an ever changing selection. Please keep it up Lucy. Thanks.

I’ve loved every workshop I’ve done at VSB. Very friendly and teaching is done in simple steps. My favourite is a pair of dungarees for my newborn grandson. I’ve made some lovely things that look much better than I thought I could make

I’ve attended 6 of the social classes so far this year and enjoyed each one, I am learning new skills and I come home with a finished project.

Would highly recommend this lovely friendly venue.

I've done 5 of Lucy's sewing workshops now. I've had a great time at each of them and come away not just with a nice item, but also with new skills and tips which I can use on projects at home. The social sewing is fun, small projects that get you going, learn new skills, drink tea,and learn so much without really trying.

Have had the most thereputic day learning a new skill with an amazing "teacher" Karen from tulle and candy floss. The variety of classes is just brilliant something for everyone of any age or ability. Not just sewing but other needle skills and craft lessons available. What I really love is it is an ever changing selection. Please keep it up Lucy. Thanks.

Xxx

Lucy never fails to amaze me - with her patience, passion and just general 'niceness'! Would highly recommend to anyone at any level - you will get the help and support you need, both from Lucy and also the many lovely individuals who attend the sessions.
