We went for a meal for my sister-in laws Birthday yesterday, And we all loved it,

The food was gorgeous and the prices were more than reasonable! The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us.

The decor inside was lovely and we will definitely be returning!!

We had the 3 course meal on Saturday for 8.95 and we were blown away. The food was outstanding and I just couldn't believe the quality. Everything was fresh and tasty. I wish we had taken photos but it looked to good to wait! Definitely will be make it a regular visit.

We had lunch at the Wellington yesterday. We found it to be great value for money and the owners made us feel really welcome! We will be back

We had a wonderful Fathers Day lunch today! The food was spot on and we were made to feel at home from the moment we walked in and nothing was to much trouble. I haven’t been in this building since it was Bojangles and I haven’t been in to Rochdale to drink let alone eat for a very long time as there is a stigma attached to going “out in town” but the owners on The Wellington have made this building a beautiful setting for a family meal or drinks out with friends. I’ll certainly be arranging a girls night out soon to visit again! Thank you for your hospitality The Wellington you have definitely changed my mind about going into Rochdale

User

Today we had the most delicious meal at the Wellington. As a family we eat out fairly regularly but this was our first time eating here and it will not be our last, the food was absolutely amazing! We arrived to a warm welcome, the staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone at the Wellington, we will be back again very soon...

Thank you so much for opening early for my hen party on Friday! It was an amazing start to our weekend, best cooked breakfast I've ever had and as usual the gins were so good Absolutely love it here

User

Superb food. Mike and his staff look after you. The quality of the food cannot be underestimated. The chef is cracking and the scallops and mussels are to die for, don’t get me started on the tiramisu! Great pricing, great food. Faultless all the way.

User

Peaky Blinders night was the best night we’ve ever had, the place is beautiful, the service was amazing, the food was mitchelin star worthy, Gordon Ramsay could have cooked it. The night ran so smoothly, the entertainment was awesome and so appropriate for the themed night. Well done everyone

User

Me & my chap had a great meal here today. 2 super Sunday roasts. But, the Baileys cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning! Keep up the good work guys!

User

Massive thank you to all the staff for opening early for us on Friday! Perfect place to spend a few hours before heading off for hen do carnage! Haha seriously though the breakfast was gorgeous and staff were lovely and went above and beyond!! Thanks to all involved x

User

Have been in the Wellington for drink on the odd occasion but visited for food today with our family. The food was amazing, the staff were fantastic...already looking forward to our next visit. Well done on you for bringing something good back to Rochdale town centre

Had food here a couple of Saturdays back. Very good (not good for Rochdale - good for anywhere and I like my food). Had a duck starter which was nice, mushroom risotto for main which was excellent, cointriou cheesecake deconstructed for desert which was excellent. Was eating with 3 others and had a go at theirs as well. Their mains where chicken with veg, pork belly and steak - all were excellent. The steak was probably my favourite as the sauce was super tasty.

The staff were friendly and at hand, the manager came at the end of the food and genuinely wanted us to critic the food so that she could look at ways to improve.

The place is half pub half restaurant at the minute. Think they are seeing if there’s a market for good food in Rochdale before fully committing. I don’t usually write long reviews but this place will need supporting to make it a viable restaurant and Rochdale needs good places to eat.

I’m going again next Saturday but in one respect I hope people don’t find out how good the food is here as I can see having to book a few week in advance once word gets around.

Had a beautiful afternoon" and evening" in here today. Had a father's day out with my gorgeous girlfriend who paid for a lovely meal and all the drinks. The lamb was beautiful and we loved the chicken wings with sour cream as a starter. So nice to go out for a meal in a stylish establishment. The staff are the friendliest people in any restaurant you could wish too meet. Thanks to the owners Mike and Sarah for making us so welcomed. We will definitely visit again.

User

First visit last night for a friend's birthday. The food was excellent and lovely presentation. There is a huge selection of different gins reasonably priced too. They had run out of some of the drinks we wanted but gave us a complimentary coffee due to this. The staff are lovely. I will definitely be returning.

User

Came for lunch today with my friend. Was lovely. Had a lovely chicken and bacon sandwich on gluten free bread. Brownie points for the GF bread.

The decor is beautiful. We both can't wait to return for lunch again and also a few drinks when we are out. Thanks.

User

6 of us booked a table to watch the Amy Winehouse tribute (who was amazing)

but we thought we could eat at there. not realising that was the venue for the artist.

but thanks to staff a quick phone to the Wellington restaurant we had a table waiting for us within minutes.

to say we were a challenging group is a slight understatement. we must have been a nightmare with orders being changed and orders being put on hold!!!!!!

but anything that was asked of mike wasn't a problem . he couldnt do enough for us , and had a smile on his face throughout .

after the lovely food we went back to vicolo del vino where rochelle had reserved our table in the best possible seats. and had a great night watching a great show.

I would definitely recommend coming to these places.

the Wellington and then over the street to vicolo del vino for the entertainment.

more than reasonable price for food and drinks but with no compromise on quality and service.

it's the best night weve had in Rochdale. and we're from Bury

User

Had a great meal last night, the prawns I had to start were delicious and the halloumi burger was nice too, it just could have done with a softer bun and some sort of chutney or some red peppers to make it perfect. Overall great value for money and will definitely return.

User

Popped in Saturday night for a drink with my wife. Nicely decorated and a decent range of drinks and looks a good addition to Rochdale.

However, the experience was ruined by the trillion decibel singer that was on, he needs to realise that he isn't playing Neptunes in Benidorm, the owners need to control the sound better. You couldn't hear yourself speak let alone whoever was in your company.

User

Went for my birthday the girl on was on her own, waited around 20 mins for 2 cocktails a glass of wine and a recording the prawn starter was a joke with a teaspoon of food. The Sunday lunch I wouldn't give it to an animal chewy beef lumpy gravey and a spoonful of of mash would not recommend this place for food. Place is clean and beautifull but food is shit
