Just like to say that we are taking advantage of Monday's bank holiday but we will be back on Tuesday - all bells ringing!

We have had the cafe transformed by one of my favourite local artists. .. Michael Hodgkins. This art is unique and quirky. He re-imagines classic pieces of art, often political and topical. Please see final pic for prices xxx

Our new vegan cake 🍰 is a chai spiced ginger, pistachio and coconut cake 🐳 .

In addition to our vegan carrot cake , chocolate fudge cake , strawberry and apricot slice and chocolate chip and banana cakes -we have added a strawberry lemon and vanilla sponge cake and a blueberry and plum sponge . 🐳

Today’s special salad the poke bowl 🐳
Homemade Beetroot and toasted walnut hummus , with Edemame beans , fresh Avocado and orange segments and a lentil salad and olives served with a fresh orange and Tarragon dressing . 🐳

Marilyn Hale is a local glasswork artist hailing from Ulverston. Her work is incredibly varied and uses primarily glass , hand worked and embellished with wonder! This is her final retirement exhibition and as such the art is heavily reduced in price. This a must see exhibition. Please see individual photos for prices xx

Sun-dried tomato, green been olive and feta salad, topped with crispy pumpkin seeds and a tarragon vinaigrette . Then a new burger Paulo made , the Bhaji burger topped with a mango chutney mayonnaise served with salad , chips and homemade vegan coleslaw. 🐳

Just to update. The Saturday job has been filled. The cleaning hours are not available until September due to a change in our current cleaner's schedule.
Further update. The weekend positions have now been filled. As it stands the mid week positions also appear to be filled. The cleaning job will still be available from September.

Suzee’s latest masterpiece is a Raw Peanut lime and chocolate layered pie , served with a zingy lime syrup . 🐳

We are delighted to welcome back local acclaimed artist Janet D Graves to exhibit at the cafe. This is her 3rd exhibition here. Pieces are vibrant and striking , adorned with found items, willow and hazel branches. Janet uses bleach, charcoal and wire to produce texture and relief to her work.
