We have premises now! We are the Posh Sardine on the promenade at Arnside. Beautiful vintage tearoom and gift shop. We will be serving afternoon tea on tiered cake stands very soon. Saying a huge thank you to the very lovely Jane and Steven Caldwell, the previous owners of the Posh Sardine. They are going to be a hard act to follow for us and we have become great friends. Yes this our new place and we had to have a little toast with something bubbly to celebrate- and in vintage china teacups...obviously! We are open 10 till 5 (or 5.30!) 6 days a week and closed on Wednesdays. Light lunches, (gluten free, vegan and dairy free) homemade cakes, amazing ice-cream and a fabulous range of gifts. Pop in to see us and Ken's flat white coffees are sooooo good, you'll have to try one!

Well I said I'd share more information when I could about the premises we have found. Here's a clue for you- "we do like to be beside the seaside, by the sea!" Any ideas?😄😉🤣😎

Feeling super excited. We have found premises that we love and hope to be opening soon! I won't say anymore as I don't want to jinx it, but keep watching this space for more news.

Our NEW cupcakes...Mars. Chocolate sponge, caramel middle with chocolate buttercream and topped with a slice of Mars bar and a drizzle of caramel. Yum! 😍

Here's the picture I promised of a very special vegan birthday cake.....RED VELVET! Well done to those who worked it out. The soya cream cheese frosting was amazing.... obviously it had to be tested before I decorated the cake! 😁😂😁😂 If you need cake or bakes for any occasion just get in touch ❤

Damson Day has been rescheduled for THIS Saturday, YIPPEE! Thankfully we hadn't decorated many of our cakes last week so they went into the freezer.come and find us in a barn with other foodie stalls with a selection of cupcakes and some of your favourite BIG cake. For the vintage lovers out there, we are also having a small vintage stall featuring fine china, trios, homeware, handbags and some lovely gifts. Big cakes going...Victoria, coffee & Baileys (GF), chocolate & dams...on Lyth Valley cake. Cupcakes...strawberry Victoria's (GF/DF), damson Victoria's, coffee & Bailey's (GF) triple chocolate, cookies & cream, choc & mint, choc & damson, Mars bar (choc & caramel), banana & peanut butter (GF & vegan), our famous brownies AND some damson brownies (all GF), lemon drizzle slices (GF/DF), bakewell slices, plus a few surprises. We usually have some left over after events so if you know you can't make it but would like any of our goodies, send us a message to arrange this. 😃😍🍰 Don't forget you can order cakes, tray bakes afternoon teas etc at any time, we just need 48 hours notice for afternoon teas. 💖

Due to Damson Day being cancelled yesterday we have some cakes to sell.....great news for you but bad news for our waistlines 😁😂 Cupcakes and brownies...shout if you want some as I will put them on sell and seek pages tomorrow. PS the Damson brownies are amaaaaazing!

Totally lush cake! it all just melts in your.mouth! Today I had chocolate and chilli cake, Chocolate and orange and a taste of lemon drizzle. Diet starts tomorrow!!

These guys make the best cupcakes EVER!! Coffee and baileys and the double chocolate are my fav.... definitely highly recommend it

Thelmas made some vanilla and some Nutella cupcakes for my friends baby shower and they were delicious! Highly recommended. Thank you! Xx

So glad i did! Your cupcakes were to die for! Bought a box of 6 the first day and went back the second day and bought another box!



Everyone throughly enjoyed them and have said they have never eaten such delicious, soft and moist cupcake!
