🌸Midnight Dressing table🌸

This lovely vintage dressing table has been painted with Vintro’s ‘Midnight’, the darkest of dark greys. The whole piece has been sealed with clear wax. ... The handles have been sprayed with a lovely sparkly pink ‘Rose Gold’ colour. Inside, the drawers have been lined with a dark wallpaper featuring big pink roses. Across the bottom and along the back board of the piece is some beautiful carving.
There is a mirror attached which does have a few age related marks around the edges. The drawers could easily be used without the mirror if desired. Removing it would not leave any visible evidence that the mirror was missing.
As with all hand painted furniture there may be some imperfections or evidence of a past life.
This piece has a matching chest of drawers that is also available for purchase.
This set would fit perfectly in a bedroom or guest room.

So, this is me! The face behind ‘Thirteen’ for those of you who don’t know me in real life! (Best pic I could find)
Just a few things about me:
... I currently work from home, in my garage, kitchen, front room, wherever I can find space! I don’t have a shop but if something takes your fancy you are more than welcome to come for a look!
I sell most of my pieces online through my page here, through fur.nish uk and my Etsy shop. If you need something delivering, that’s fine. I can arrange a courier and package things up.
I mostly paint and sell my own pieces but I can also do commissions.
In September I’m starting the Ministry of Upholstery business course so look out for footstool, chairs and other exciting things appearing in my shop section!

Half moon table painted in Vintro’s ‘Victorian Black’ no seal chalk paint. It has a lovely smooth finish.
... The feet have been painted in Vintro’s ‘Old Mauve’ with a silver band around the top.

🖤Lebus drawers🖤

This chest of drawers made by Harris Lebus has been painted with Annie Sloan’s ‘Graphite’ chalk paint. The whole piece has then been sealed with clear wax for protection. Black wax has then been used to accentuate the detail and for shading around the edges to create depth to the colour.
... The beautiful, original, vintage handles have been brushed with copper gilding wax.
Inside, the drawers have been lined with a charcoal and copper coloured paper to bring them up to date.
This beautiful chest of drawers would fit well in a bedroom as an individual piece or in a living space for extra storage.

Old mauve drawers. This low 2 drawer chest has been painted with Vintro’s ‘Old Mauve’ and sealed with clear wax.
... The vintage handles have been brushed with silver gilding wax.
The inside of the drawers are lined with complementing paper.
These drawers would look lovely in a bedroom or in a living space for extra storage.
H- 54cms W- 90cms D- 42cms
As with all hand painted furniture there may be some small imperfections or evidence of a past life. The bottom drawer of this piece doesn’t quite sit flat as you can see in the photos. This doesn’t affect the use of the drawers or the sturdiness of the piece.
