Eric Johnson, Aftermarket Sales Executive is one of our newest recruits, having started his career in September of last year. However, in a short amount of time, he has made a positive difference.
Eric is based at our Liverpool depot and has been tasked with assisting customers with their aftermarket requirements, covering: Liverpool, Preston and Trafford.
On his appointment, Eric commented: “I am proud to have joined Thomas Hardie Group which has a fantastic reputation in th...e industry, with Volvo being recognised as a market-leading manufacturer. I am especially looking forward to introducing our products to those unfamiliar with the extensive range of services which we offer."
Eric joins us with a wealth of experience, having started his career as an apprentice with a well-known coach operator back in 1993, before moving to an established truck manufacturer back in 1998 . Eric has over 20yrs of experience of working within the transport industry, in a range of placements, including administration and customer service, prior to him moving in to a managerial role more recently.

Simon Joined us back in 2016 to undertake the role of Business Manager for Preston Depot. Simon has worked in various roles throughout the transport industry during his career. Most recently as an Aftermarket Director for another reputable truck marque, meaning Simon has a wealth of experience in sales management, new business development and account management.
His success and extensive experience in the transport industry and bu...siness development management has undoubtedly brought powerful skills to the Preston team, and he continues to enhance the growth and expansion of the depot and its customer portfolio.
Simon has a strong ethic of working together, among the Thomas Hardie team, with our customers and our suppliers. Therefore, we realised from the outset that recruiting someone who embodies that philosophy is critical to our business.
Simon’s primary responsibilities are to oversee the day-to-day running of the site itself and to develop our processes further to ensure our excellent quality levels, efficiencies and delivery performance continue to remain at consistently high levels as the company and our customer base expands.
