We are very proud to announce that our Head Chef, Ed Carr, is running the London Marathon 2018, in aid of The Children's Adventure Farm Trust. The Adventure Farm is a haven for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from across the Northwest, providing week-long holidays to children in desperate need. A magical, special place, where laughter and happy times are encouraged, friendships blossom, illnesses and sorrows are forgotten... Ed has set-up a JustGiving page. Please feel free to donate anything you can, it all helps, and will ultimately motivate Edward "will run for chocolate" Carr to get out of the kitchen and into the gym!

Wow, what a little gem of a place - loved it and cannot find a single fault. Great ambience, warm friendly staff who seem to enjoy their work and look after customers, delicious food and drink and gorgeous surroundings. One of the nicest coffee shops I’ve been in and will definitely be returning. Recommend the Pear, Stilton and Walnut Salad and really enjoyed the lemon and ginger tea. Well done to the team, you’ve found a winning formula Xx

What a wonderful oasis! We thoroughly enjoyed Toast, from the decor to the food and the service was wonderful. The place is filled with warmth and kindness. Such a fantastic place to visit, we’ll be back for sure!

We went in this morning for the first time. We loved it we opted for peanut butter & banana on toast it was delicious. The savoury & breakfast options looked equally delicious. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic explaining the concept! There was a real buzz about the place and we look forward to returning

We loved this place! It looked so inviting from the outside that we had to give it a try. So glad we did, such a cool place to eat and drink. The food was great especially the Christmas dinner on toast. Justin and the staff were so lovely. Definitely recommend!

So happy to find this little gem. Friendly helpful staff, so attentive and informative. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the crumpets with black pudding, bacon and poached egg and Shark Bite coffee. Delicious. Well worth a visit ���

Lovely , I had minute steak and Stilton rarebit, John had white crab and lime on rye . We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely go again . Not overpriced either , thoroughly recommend.

I've just been in Toast with my friend to have brunch, which was fabulous! The staff and the owner Justin are really nice and friendly. It was very busy and I've not seen anywhere the owner pitching in and cleaning tables and serving the customers! Absolutely lovely and we will be back for sure!

I've been wanting to visit this place for a while after freelancing for The Foundry in Goose Green and walking past it several times on my lunch hour, it always looks so inviting! It certainly didn't disappoint, the decor is just fabulous and so stylish!

I can't really comment on the food as only coffees and teacakes were had!

But, looking forward to trying the food next time and going for drinks at the weekend when you have the late license in a few weeks. All four staff that I spoke to this afternoon and served my Mother and I were very polite and chatty which adds to the experience!

I love this place, it’s unique! The ambiance, beautiful food and excellent service from the staff, make it stand out from anywhere else. I’ll be back very soon.

The friendly welcome we received: I always appreciate owners who come round the tables chatting to the diners and making sure they are happy. This makes you feel special and wanting to return.

The carefully thought out menu: Something to please most people.

The interior: furnishings and design were a mix and comfort and quirky

The Peppermint Tea: It was served with honey which was lovely.

Came to toast on Saturday which is now finally open until 9pm on the weekends. Lovely atmosphere with lovely staff & fabulous music. Would highly recommend, now open till 9pm both fridays and saturdays!! Will definitely be back �

Came here on Saturday night for cocktails, got given nuts and monster munch which were a nice addition to my night. Lovely place and highly recommend thanks for a nice evening �

A welcoming place, with very kind staff. We ate the sweet toasts, really good! They also satisfied an Italian palate, which is perhaps used to other flavors. A special thanks to Justin for his availability. I hope to come back soon.

Visited Toast on a very busy Saturday lunch time. It is beautifully decorated and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the place. The food was great , as were the coffees and wine selection. The service was a little slow but it was a busy Saturday , and they staff couldn’t do more for us. I will definitely be going back!

Lovely place to eat, food was lovely, staff were lovely, however, wasn’t happy when asked would I like toast with my salad and was then charged 70p for it.

Need some more vegetarian/vegan options on the lunch menu, then we’d definitely visit. Pumpkin just doesn’t do it. Looks great inside though...
