I came into violin making through a long held passion for music inherited from my parents and childhood in Cambridgeshire, England. During my time in Newark, I have gained a wide variety of experiences, working with professionals in both the fields of violin and bow making and restoration. From this I've developed a real taste for making, enjoying everything from the intricate work of some makers to the upmost freedom of others, largely focussing on the work of Cremonese makers as well as a patriotic interest in some aspects of the English tradition.
