Took early retirement last September feeling a little anxious and depressed. Decided that I needed to live for the moment get fit and enjoy every day!!

So I joined total fitness ..a gym ..me going to a gym .. have I lost my mind ., well no I take part in classes Dance ,Pilates,Zumba and aqua and I love it ..part of a group of like minded men and women all happy to be alive ....

It gives me a purpose to my days and because the classes are pre booked it makes you attend

I love it �

The only down side at the moment is not being able to get into the aqua classes !!! Hopefully this will be sorted soon !?

The gym is great. In terms of facilities it has absolutely everything and more than you’ll ever need. I mean who actually needs 6 pools??



The staff are incredibly helpful and the attitude they have gives the whole gym a great atmosphere.



Considering it’s the biggest gym I have ever seen it is by far the least intimidating and most friendly I have been in.

My son fell and bust his lip this morning. The lady on reception gave first aid and was amazing. I can’t thank her enough.

Lovely warm pool and really easy to enter the water ,tastefully fitted out and well thought about particularly for anyone disabled.Very busy jym lots of personal trainers. Never seen such a large Centre for keeping fit .really enjoyed my class in the Hydro Pool.

Awesome place to train. Amazing vibe, friendly staff and clients and great variety of classes with experienced trainers.

Spa facilities were clean and very relaxing after a training session.

Changing area exceptionally clean. Can’t wait for my next session and you can get your coffee fix on the way out.....perfect!!

I love this gym and left my previous gym so I could join my husband at total fitness. We have just had a baby and the only disappointing thing for me is there are no crèche facilities which my previous gym had. I think this is something that a lot of members would benefit from as I know whilst I'm on maternity I'd love to make the most of the gym to get back to my pre baby weight before I return to work full time.

Yoga class tonight was really good.. only criticism would be that I had to ask someone that seemed to have been before what ‘kit’ I needed as it wasn’t clear who the instructor was and I’d never attended a TF class before... overall from visiting regularly I have great concern over the changing room situation - my son will be 8 next year, I’m a single mother and I know he won’t be anymore medically able to left to go alone into the male changing next year.. also, when are you bringing back kids classes?? For less than my individual membership at TF I can join myself and my son to life leisure and he can take part in kids karate and kick boxing... car park lighting needs improvement, a footpath from the crossing bridge would be useful... the list goes on, and while you seem to want to spend the money indoors not much is happening for families or the outer areas.

There are a large number of broken machines that need repair and need all together replacing. Instead of this, they’ve spend their budget on a new barrier system because they’re worried that people are using the gym as a cut through.... #priorities

Quite a lot of the equipment is dated and showing its age now and they really need to invest in some Watt Bikes to bring facilities into the current era!

Great gym, nice staff but the lack of hot water in the showers and sink area is a huge let down

Absolute scammers. Poor gym, poor pool and staff dont care to supervise you. Go else where

Signed up on a 14 day trial. Paid £135 on the basis 100% would be refunded if within those 14 days I cancelled the membership.

After 3 visits in 14 days (1 gym, 2 swimming with kids) I decided this wasn’t the right time for us to join & requested to cancel my membership.

Told no as I had signed up in the gym and not online I wasn’t able to. I reminded the staff what i had been told and the refund was agreed.



Called in on Saturday as no one had called to advise this. They advised it had been cancelled and would be in the bank within the coming days. As the exit gate was closed my partner requested the code for the gate, the member of staff on reception refused to give him this!! Managed to get the code off another member of staff to be intimidated and followed out by the reception member of staff!!



Refund went in the bank on Monday.



Now correct me if I’m wrong £115 is not 100% of £135 �



Apparently £10 was pro rata and the other £10 who knows, no one will answer my question.



I requested a call from a manager on Monday. Today’s Friday and I’m still waiting. I was more than willing to return to this gym but the customer service is abysmal.
