Treedrum and the Manc is an acoustic songwriting duo with influences from as far afield as Jose Gonzales to Tom Waits to Talking heads. Focused on writing original catchy folk /pop /punk songs.
Treedrum Description
Our band fuse West African drumming rhythms with guitar, bass, woodwind & vocals. We are available to play at gigs and festivals. Catch us at Kendal Calling and One World Festival this summer.
We are also available to run West African drumming workshops or you can join one of our drum circles in Manchester where you will get expert tuition form our drumming leader Craig Winterburn. Learning to play drums within a group is not only an excellent method to help build confidence, but it also has many health benefits - it is excellent for expressing and releasing emotions. Drumming is good for the mind and the body - and some say its good for the soul ;D
