We are a family run business so ability to perform under pressure, being cool with a graft and coping with being put through the paces is essential. We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge with tropical and cold water fish. The ideal tribe member would have worked within the... aquatic industry. If you have not worked within the industry but still possess extensive knowledge you may still be considered.

The ideal tribe member would have worked within the exotic pet industry which includes reptiles, small animals, inverts and birds. If you have not worked within the industry but still possess extensive knowledge you may still be considered.

Travelled from Liverpool today to come here as there are no good reptile stores in Liverpool. This shop is by far the best exotic/aquatics I’ve ever visited. The cleanliness of each aquarium/vivarium was outstanding. I’ve worked in a zoo in the past and they looked exactly like our “exhibits”. The friendliness of every staff member including what I believe was the manager/owner was amazing. Whether I was asking advice or having a general chat they would happily stop and chat. I will continue to travel from Liverpool if I ever need anything for my animals. Can not wait to come back. Thank you so much for a lovely visit. Deserves more than just 5*

Recently I had bought two tarantulas from this place which are now doing very well. Throughout my picking I had lots of help and advice which I greatly appreciate.

All staff are very helpful, kind and full of information

The cleanliness of this shop is great and all animals are happily homed in great enclosures.

As well as this they do not oversell their products, all products are sold at a reasonable price and are all good quality.

I would dearly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy a pet.

One of the best shops i have ever brought from really helpful and knowledge was first class i have been keeping reptiles for years and still learnt something new today which was a bit of a shock to me as no other shop had ever given me the info they had which was a vital piece of info so thanks guys

My partner and I visited the shop on Saturday just because we love lizards and snakes, and my partner just fell in love with a little beardie. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with answers for all of our questions, and were happy to leave us for a while to consider before we bought the beardie! Luke definitely sold us on the beardie and now we’re happy to have him home with us! We will be visiting the store more often now.

Me and my boyfriend visited Manchester for a weekend and came across this store! I've never seen a pet store so clean and well maintained. The staff obviously care about the animals there. I asked Bruno in the aquarium section downstairs about a pest snail problem I was having. He helped me pick out some bait food and a trap. He was really helpful and obviously knows his stuff, I'm jealous! We even visited a second day to look for a new furry friend. Again, we found helpful staff that let us pet the skinny pigs and told is all about them! We hope to buy a pair of pigs to join our family soon! Stay awesome 😊

Just got a skink from here today and he is perfect!! Lovely colouration and looks nice and healthy the staff were so lovely, helpful and passionate about their animals. They gave me so much advice on what to do in order to give my skink the best life possible.

They put some bedding in the box for my skink too which shows their care for their animals as I’ve not seen many other places do this. They also gave me a voucher which will be used when I come back. Would recommend to anyone

I visited the store as I was passing. The livestock all looked really healthy and habitats suitable and clean. There was a lot of staff all working throughout the department's cleaning and feeding. Staff asked if I required help and were happy to leave me when I said I was just browsing. Listening to the advice and conversations with other customers, they were all very knowledgeable and helpful. There was no pressure to buy just sound advice given. In conversation the staff were also clearly assessing the suitability of the potential buyer to the animal they were enquiring about. Looking downstairs in the fish area this was also the same. Eventually, I did speak with staff and again information was in my opinion comprehensive and accurate, no pressure sales were attempted. Livestock prices were higher than I pay generally, but that is to be expected as I buy from breeders. Compared to other pet shops I have visited, their prices are in the low to average area and certainly competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending the store or buying from it myself.

I visited Urban Jungle to have a look at the snakes (in particular royal pythons) and snake supplies they had on offer. I was approached by a member of staff and he was incredibly helpful and made my visit a wonderful experience. He brought out different snakes to show me and let me handle them and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions honestly and confidently and his obvious passion for reptiles made me even more excited about getting my first reptile in the near future! I have visited a few times with various questions and spoken to a few different members of staff and every single one has been knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!



The range of animals in this store is incredible- from pigmy hedgehogs and bunnies to many beautiful birds and fish to frogs, monitors, snakes, spiders and it's an amazing place even to just have a browse! They offer a great range of pet supplies and have amazing deals on- I can't recommended this place enough and I seriously can't wait to come back soon! :•)

I love this shop! I only have two exotic pets but visit it very regularly. The prices are good, they have such variety of stock and the staff are excellent- really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The cages are clean and they provide toys and fresh food for their birds which very few shops do. Great service every time. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I got my two blizzard coat leapord geckos from here roughly around 4 months ago give or take a month, they were young and one was unsexed but was thought to be both girls true to their word they both are girls and doing fabulous with my they may have doubled in size and then some, i was given all the advice i could have asked for as well as stuff i couldnt find out on the internet, im going to be back in the next few weeks to hopefully bring a california king snake into my little family, love the shop love the staff, i even arrived at 2:55pm on a sunday with only five minutes got all the extra info i needed about which items work best for that type of snake, id been looking for info all day so was spur of the moment and made to feel welcome, see yous soon guys love the place and the staff x

I bought a hamster from here yesterday. He's a little older than the hamsters you get from other pet shops as he's about 4/5 months rather than the 7/8 week old hamsters you get from pets at home etc. The staff were all really helpful and actually got my hamster from the back as I didn't want a female and that was all that was out in the shop.



They put some bedding in a carrier for me too which is more than a lot of pet shops do and asked for some pictures and stuff from home of him settled in which was lovely as they genuinely do care about the animals they sell.



Chunk has settled in perfectly. He's already been well handled so he's friendly and so inquisitive and confident rather than cowering as new pet hamsters usually do. I'm so happy with my purchase from here and I'll come back again and again for pets and products.

Helpful and friendly staff throughout the amazingly well stocked shop. We came from the Wirral as our son had told us about his experiences with Urban Jungle and the post sale help and advice he has continued to get.

Luke looked after us and was polite, patient and very knowledgable. He gave us a lot of practical help and took his time. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

As noted in another review, there was no pressure to buy. Now, as a family we are delighted but more importantly feel comfortable about the new addition to to the household.
